Most emotional moment

I don't remember a day or time when I felt extremely happy or sad but I do remember a day when I felt both.

I had finished writing a math test which I prepared for and thought I'd do well but ended up not even finishing. This made me sad because I had worked on almost all the questions(similar ones) the night before and hardly had any sleep before the test. Therefore the results showed that my efforts were in vain.

Fortunately, my close friend was there to give me comfort. All of a sudden, she asked that we go to my dorm. I didn't suspect anything because it was already closing and the only thing that kept me from going to the dorm was that, I wasn't ready to interact with people either on my way to the dorm or in the dorm.

Finally, she succeeded in moving me from the class to the dorm. I followed quietly behind her as we approached the house, avoiding eye contact with my mates.

Before I entered the dorm, I felt something fishy going on, I asked Anette if something was happening in my dorm and she said NO, everything was fine. I believed her and followed behind her as we entered the dorm. Immediately I entered I heard a loud "surpriseee" from the people in my dorm. They got me surprised.

These people were my friends who had planned a mini-birthday party for me. How they even managed to get the drinks and cake and other gifts, I don't even know up to now, since my school never provided these things and never allowed them to be sold or brought in the school.

My mood switched from sadness to joy and I felt very happy and grateful. We had rosary prayers right at the time of the celebration so the celebration was cut off.

Later, my friend told me that, they knew I would be sad if I couldn't write the paper and hence decided to plan it
