Facing critical situations and taking Lessons

At the age of 15, in school there was a kid was very much racist towards me. She would frequently make jokes about me looking like a Chinese and it was quite offensive and it made me feel disrespected. She was around for 2 years but then somehow in the first year she stopped bothering me but again in the 2nd year when I started using Facebook then she sent me some very mean comments and messages.

After that incident I was very sad and one day I asked her politely and requested to her to stop. But after a week or two, I realised she had no intention of bringing to an end. I gave her warning that she must apologise to me now otherwise I will go to the principal of the school. She didn’t even care what I have said and she again continued with the harassment. Well, then the next week, I went to the principal. I was there with my best sad-face I could make, and I did show him the texts that she has sent.

At the end she was suspended for 3 weeks, and the principal ordered her to give me a letter of an apology. Later on, she refused to do so instead of her the mother gave me one. Anyways after that day I did not ever hesitate to rat someone out.

Actually, I never like to start an argument but if someone is putting me in a hard situation and making things critical for me then they have to face me.

Actually, according to my thoughts situation will make you stronger or weaker. I am going to talk about the two stories, which will help you to understand about better idea of situation perspective.

First story,
One day, I was going to the shopping mall. I saw a boy from my neighbourhood , he is only 11 years old. At that time he was riding his bicycle on the road. Then I saw somehow he fell because of the road breaker he got unbalanced. Stunningly I saw him standing up without feeling sad or crying at all. I was amazed by seeing when he suddenly stood up there and behaved like nothing happened. I was very impressed seeing him like a strong kid.

Second story,
Another day, I saw him at his home. He was enjoying himself inside his room with his toys. Out of nowhere he fell down from his chair. Then at that time I saw his reaction which was totally shocking in comparison to the bicycle incident. He started crying like a newborn baby. One thing I could understand is that it was because everyone was there.

Going to come to the conclusion of both stories.

In the second story, that kid was under his parents duty. To be honest the presence of his parents made him very weak, because he obviously wanted some kind of sympathy from them. That’s why his brain became weak in the search of sympathy. And in the first story, that boy was outside and at that place he did not know anyone, everyone was a stranger to him so, he did not feel the need of sympathy over there. At that time his present mind thought that he has to stood by himself. Because he was alone and he has to survive by his only support which is only himself. Moreover, the survival thought made him stronger.

So, from this I could understand that situation plays a big role in our life to outcome as stronger or weaker.

The most important lessons I have learned from life:

1 - I have to ignore everyone else and keep dreaming until it’s becoming my reality. Even if someone says to my face that I can’t do it still I have to grind by myself.
2 - When someone is back bitching or blabbering about I should not give response because that’s what they need.
3 - Look at the sunset it is a live proof that endings of anything can be beautiful.
4 - Keep the hope it helps us to stay alive but I do not expect from anyone. Also I am always going forward but I will never wait for anything.
5 - Most important thing is that I will pass through bad days but my whole life is not bad. I have stopped taking bad days in a negative way.
6 - When I am emotional I don’t take decisions at that time.
7 - If there are problems to disrupt my life it does not only does leave bad effects but also clears the path.
8 - I enjoy little things and I believe that those little things can make big things happen.
9 - Many people will not like me specifically they all will see myself as a competitor.
10 - I know that no one will always be there to understand me and have my back. So, I need to learn to be my own saviour.

Overall, I would like to say that we are the only one who has to think of ourselves as a strong person and not wait for a circumstance to be known as a strong one because if we believe it then we can be it.

Most times, we don't need to let the words of other people to weigh us down because being silent in situations like that makes us stronger instead of retaliating which is like being weak. Life is filled with negative people but we must learn to be strong and never allow their words bring us down.

Sometimes we truly need to speak up otherwise someone will defame us which might increase the probability of living in a bad experience forever.

About that "chinese" thing it is interesting that a friend of mine told me that you were Japanese ( your nickname and your eyes) and I told him that it is impossible. I couldn't see that. Yeah you have eyes that looks like almonds... but no Chinese or japanese at all, and they are pretty. Do you know that there was a girl in school that told me once that I had also eyes that looked asian? lol and promise you that they aren't. More precisely Mongol. In Brazil, there is a slang to call a Mongol a dumb person, with mental problems, since it is a very pejorative meaning associated with the eyes of people who have Dawn Syndrome ( they look like having asiatic eyes), who have mental disabilities.

I don't take being called Chinese as a bad thing but she was truly trying to bully me through it that's why I have reacted otherwise I do like Chinese people and they are all beautiful.

Of course they are, the problem is when people use it as a pejorative term...
