Finally, I Finished Watching the Season 1 of Kaiju No. 8.

Way back before when we were at Cebu, we watch this at the hotel on our staycation nights there. I have known this anime all thanks to wittyzell, jude.villarta and adamada. The latest episode was still at Episode 5, so we haven't completed watching the season back then.

After the trip, I have already forgotten about it since I was back to my normal busy life. It was only brought up again when the Patata suggested we binge watch some anime.

As for this anime, I was hooked by the funny and thrilling plot. The story revolves around the main lead (Hibino Kafka) and his friends, encouraging and doing their best to be stronger in the defense force to beat those Kaijus harming the people in their area. I don't wanna spoil something here and I don't know much how to filter my words to be careful enough, so I'll just speak whatever is on my mind about the anime.

It was rated 8.3/10 on IMDb, which is fair I guess. The anime is good if you want to watch an action-thriller anime but full of comedy. The one that is breathtaking and nerve wracking in every fighting scenes but would still be able to laugh.

Kafka's journey here is inspiring. He was on his final chance to chase his dreams and was about to give up. However, from his friend's motivation, he continued to pursue his dreams even though the steps ahead would be absolutely bumpy for him. He got a kind of determination that no one could take it away from him. He was just foolish and clumsy sometimes which makes the whole season funny in every episode.

If I'm gonna rate it, I would give it a 10/10. I have much care about the graphics and art style because they're also good. You can really see the efforts of the animators here on how detailed it was. I mean, we all have our opinions on this based from our different perspectives, but for me, as long as I get entertained by the show, I would appreciate it.

I'm looking forward to the Season 2 of Kaiju No. 8. Though it was already released, it's still ongoing and only have 4 episodes. I want to binge watch the complete season just like the Season 1 where I started at the first episode until the end, so I could be reminded of the beginning story again.

Of all the animes I've watched, this is the only one that I don't wanna get spoiled. I wanna watch and discover every scenes myself. If there would be a heartbreaking scene on the end, then so be it as long as I don't see that one on social media pages. I'm really thankful that this one isn't that popular on social media that I don't many clips about it.

Anyway, you may want to discover this anime and be entertained with the every episodes yourself, too. I highly recommend this one if you want a good hearty laugh.
