Being able to photograph an object in a limited area is not an easy matter if we don't have access. Usually, there is a ban on taking pictures, and security guards will check someone who enters the area. If you do not have access rights, then the entry is prohibited.

Some time ago, as a journalist and photographer, I had access to the area of a urea and ammonia fertilizer factory in Aceh Utara, Indonesia. We were not allowed to get too close to the factory area, for security reasons.

So, I took the opportunity to take pictures from the bus. I chose to sit by the window and shoot several objects from a limited angle. I was lucky because the bus was not going too fast. But with a limited angle, it becomes a challenge to produce good and interesting photos.

Here I show some photos in a limited area in black and white. There are several photographs at the Krueng Geukueh port, North Aceh, which are not included in the restricted area. Incidentally, there is a cargo ship that was moored there.

I also photographed the ship. once again, this is a shot from inside a moving bus. Please advise and criticize for better results. Thank you so much. []

Memotret Objek di Area Terbatas

Bisa memotret sebuah objek di area terbatas bukan perkara mudah kalau kita tidak memiliki akses. Biasanya, ada larangan memotret dan petugas keamanan akan memeriksa seseorang yang masuk ke area tersebut. Jika tidak memiliki hak akses, maka dilarang masuk.

Beberapa waktu lalu, saya sebagai wartawan dan fotografer memiliki akses untuk masuk ke area sebuah pabrik pupuk urea dan ammonia di Aceh Utara, Indonesia. Kami dilarang masuk terlalu dekat dengan area pabrik, demi alasan keamanan.

Jadi, saya gunakan kesempatan itu untuk memotret dari dalam bus. Saya memilih duduk di dekat jendela dan membidik beberapa objek dari angle terbatas. Saya beruntung karena bus melaju tidak terlalu kencang. Tapi dengan angle terbatas, menjadi tantangan tersendiri untuk menghasilkan foto-foto yang bagus dan menarik.

Di sini saya menampilkan beberapa foto di area terbatas dalam bentuk hitam putih. Ada beberapa lembar foto di pelabuhan Krueng Geukueh, Aceh Utara, yang tidak termasuk dalam area terbatas. Kebetulan ada kapal barang yang sedang bersandar di sana.

Saya juga memotret kapal tersebut. sekali lagi, ini hasil bidikan dari dalam bus yang sedang melaju. Mohon saran dan kritiknya untuk hasil yang lebih bagus. Terima kasih. []
