LOH #101// my resilient friend-A woman I adore

Hello ladies🥰, welcome to another episode of the ladies of hive contest, it's good to be here again, and for this week I will be talking about my friend, a very strong lady and wonderful person,a brave and resilient woman.

2️⃣ Let's talk about a resilient woman, it can be your friend, family member, co-worker, etc. What is her life challenge and what did she do to overcome the trial she faced?

I picked number two because I have a friend that something bad has happened to and she became really strong again.
My friend tobi is a lovely lady, i met her during my secondary school days, and we became friends, she told me she lost her dad when she was in primary school, her dad was sick and died, so it was difficult for her mum but she kept on struggling to make ends meet for her kids and was taking care of her children, my friend was young then but her and her siblings struggled and they started doing fine and everything was going on well until we finished secondary school.

When we finished secondary school we do go out together, we talk do alot of things together because she was my bestie, whenIt was December time, December 25th precisely,i called her sister because we were all close and I already called her but she wasn't picking so when I called her sister, her sister wasn't cheerful so I asked what happened and she gave me the shock of my life and told me her mom has died, it was painful because I didn't hear anything, my friend thought she called me but she didn't, it was a great misunderstanding that happened between us then, she was very mad at me that I didn't come to her house and that she told me about her mum, it was really a misunderstanding, she never told me about it, I couldn't get angry because what happened to her was something horrible, loosing one parents isn't easy at all not to talk of two parents.

It was a difficult time for her, she had a good family so she and her siblings stayed with their families, so they were able to come through for them,so she stayed with families and they were good to her and her siblings,they stood for them,so she was able to overcome those trying times.

One thing I know that made her overcome those depression times was her aunty, her aunty stays in Australia, she stood with them and made all my friends papers so she can come and meet her in Australia, she took my friend out of the country and made her life better, she is came out strong, she is now a nurse over there and doing fine.
That's one woman I know who stood strong despite all odds.
I admire her courage alot.
