Groundnut Harvesting: A Reward for Months of Patience

It all started like a dream, but now it is surely a reality, one that I won't want to wake up from anytime soon.

I had my heart set on getting the best out of this piece of land the moment I started cultivating this land. Every day was another chance to make things better on the farm, but now I have gotten past the stage of changing anything. I have to accept whatever I get now as a result of the hard work I have put into it.

No matter how tired I was the previous day, I still had to get up and go to the farm the next day, cause that was the only way I could meet up with all the different kinds of crops that I happen to cultivate yearly.

This year's harvest is not as spectacular as I would want it to be, but it still isn't bad. Some things didn't just go my way this year, but it's alright, some people have nothing to take home at all due to the rain that stop last month and the previous one, that's why we have another year to correct every mistake we've made in the previous year
