Hands-on Farming: Observing my Rice field for planting preparation.

As the rain is getting more and more frequent it is obviously becoming more urgent to start planting rice now that the ground is not too swampy to the extent where planting would be difficult, but first I have to observe the farm properly to ensure I don't miss out on anything before the work begins and I prefer doing this part myself for so many reasons.

The first reason is that I would be able to monitor things my self, no one wants his work to get spoilt prompting extra effort than any other person may input.

During my years of farming 🧺 inspection is a very vital part of farming that local farmers do over look sometimes you need to check a lot of things from pest, to the slope that the land is presently taking, and also the boundary of the farm which is very important way of controlling water on the farm.

The emerging kinds of weeds on the farm should also be keenly monitored that way you can decide on the best type of herbicide that will suit the work cause on several occasions we apply some kinds of herbicide only to find out after a while that the herbicide wasn't strong enough for the weed
