Hi Hiveans,

  • I love agriculture because it is a way of showing what you have learnt in another beautiful and awesome way naturally. If I ever know about this from time past I would have jumped into the category of Friends leading in agricultural way of life but as we were growing up my mum and dad happened to be none agricultural freak but my mum did a little bit of agriculture because of her own mother used to have some portion of land which makes her the well-known as an agricultural woman. Her own Mom planted a lot of green vegetables which among them are spinach of all kinds, some natural herbal plants such as The Tea Plant, the Olube plant has Yoruba people we call it and so many other plants.

Among others are also plantain Farming. My mum's mother has a lot of plantain in our own farmland and this is why when I told my mum I was going to get married to an agricultural man my mum's mother was full of joy and happiness because she had interest in him so much likewise at this time of the day. So with that being said I learnt more about agriculture from my husband which always teach me how to do a lot of things in an agricultural way. I also love to have some portion of land which are will be in control in order to be a better self in practicing agriculture. I have listed some portion of spinach which will use in preparing a very good delicious soup.

We have two or three types of spinach in our own farm which we always try to initiate people to cultivate because it involved less space. Within a very short period of time you can plants this spinach and within 3 to 4 weeks you start to see more of what you already sow into the ground. And if you ask me this soil requirement is not too much. So we have this type of spinach in our own farm.

This is also known as spinach in our own way of life. But it has another colour different from the major or common spinach we have in the market. But nevertheless we still have this in the market but not too common. When will use this as soup it is very tasty which always brings more about the African way of cooking when you use all kinds of ingredients to boost it up. I love it.
