Hello everyone; I hope you are all doing wonderfully.
I am delighted to be here with you again for another photography session. For me, the month of Shahrivar—marking the end of summer—brings mixed feelings; I appreciate the drop in temperature, yet the onset of autumn feels a bit bittersweet.

Anyway, during this time, I was commissioned to photograph Ms. Roz’s birthday at her private garden.

On one side of the garden lay a harvested wheat field, while the other featured a green field of corn planted for fodder. We didn't overlook either area; I’m sharing a selection of shots from both spots with you.

I fell in love with this color combination. I have to say that choosing black for the outfit in this season can really enhance the beauty of the final image's color palette. As photographers, we always strive to advise our subjects on color choices, but sometimes, everything just comes together beautifully by chance.

Since she was wearing a silk skirt, with a little help from Mom—Ms. Rose—she gave the skirt a quick toss, and this shot was captured.

For the next shot, I asked her to hold the cake up to the camera and decided to frame the shot a bit tighter—aiming for something close to a portrait. Given her age—she was celebrating her 11th birthday—she was a little uncooperative at times, but she still tried her best so we could get some good photos.

We headed toward the cornfield. The color palette shifted, becoming a bit more vibrant and striking. She had brought a candle shaped like the number for her birthday; we lit it, and I asked her to hold the "11" toward the camera while I took shots—experimenting with both out-of-focus and in-focus effects. I loved the results. After a fair amount of trial and error, these two became the final selected shots.

Here, I wanted her to hold the cake with both hands and look at the camera amidst the corn leaves. You can surely tell from her expression that she is a bit restless.😂😍

But we photographers don't pay attention to those details—especially with children, whose behavior can change at any moment.

After we set aside the birthday cake and candles, I asked if we could take a photo with sparklers this time. At first, the child kept a bit of distance and was slightly frightened, but eventually, they cooperated well, and I managed to capture this beautiful shot. Photographing children at any age comes with its own unique challenges, yet for us photographers, it is a delightful experience that enriches our professional journey. Every session that presents a new challenge becomes a memory we cherish—one that remains valuable and meaningful to us for years to come.

I would love for you to share your thoughts and experiences with me; I welcome any criticism or suggestions as I continue my photography journey in my workplace. I also look forward to enriching my knowledge in new ways within this artistic community. Your presence means a great deal to me.

Goodbye until the next photography session.

Just a random thought: Maybe the saddest part of life is knowing that some days can never be lived again.

Yes, life goes by, and we photographers capture these moments—moments that are sometimes wonderful, and at other times, perhaps bittersweet.
