Nickelback - The Long Road

After achieving global success from their breakthrough album "Silver Side Up", Nickelback returned for their album "The Long Road", which also saw commercial success but on a lesser degree.

"The Long Road" has attained the band's sound on its predecessor which was noticeable from the album's lead single "Someday", having the same vibe as "How You Remind Me". The song reached number 7 in Billboard Hot 100, but it was highly successful in US Mainstream chart at number 2, even going Gold Record during its time. It's also their return to UK top 10 as it sat at number 6, and was certified Silver Record.

"Figured You Out" was released as the second single off "The Long Road". It didn't achieve the same level of success as the preceding single peaking at number 65 in Billboard Hot 100, while it became a number 1 US Mainstream Rock hit. It was also certified Gold in America.

"Feelin' Way Too Damn Good", the third single, fared better than its predecessor but still a moderate charter. It reached number 48 in Billboard Hot 100, and higher at 24 in US Mainstream chart, whilst going to number 39 in UK Singles Chart.

"Because of You" was released as the final single but it failed to become a hit only peaking at number 6 of Mainstream Rock chart.

"The Long Road" had gone to number 6 in the US, unable to match or even go higher than the number 2 peak of "Silver Side Up". Still it managed to sell more than 3 million copies in the country. In UK, it peaked at number 5, where it had gone platinum.
