Ravenously hungry ||Dreemport sublime staff challenge :Day two
Okay, let's go. This is day two of Dreemport's Sublime Staff Week Challenge and I am supporting @abdul-qudus. I didn't participate in day one. If you're willing to participate, read here for more details.
This is my first time doing a 5 minutes freeewrite. I made use of the most dangerous writing app. I'll leave you to decide whether it was a disaster or not.
3,2,1....,Go
Jeff had just left the alleyway. A place he'd learnt to call home. He had been sleeping beside the trash can for the last three days, but today he had to leave there because apparently it was some other guy's sleeping spot before he came.
The sun was really burning his pale skin, he was sure he'd become black within a week. He looked across the street and there was this little boy eating a bag of chips on a park bench. His stomach churned and it was then he realized how hungry he was. All he could do was watch and hope the boy would spill some on the bench. A tear dropped from his eyes. He had never been so hungry before, He was ravenously hungry.
That's it. Seriously, that's it. I even had to add the last sentence (permit me this time please) I'm sure you're surprised this was all I could come up with. I'm just as surprised as you are. I thought I'd have thought of more, but I couldn't. Oh well, I hope I was able to stimulate your thought process even if for a little while.

I just found out the app logs you out if you don't type for a certain amount of seconds. I think that happened to me because It definitely didn't feel like five minutes.
I don't think I'll use it for the next one. Need to up my freeewrite game first.
I like to know what happened next. He could have gone to ask for some, rather than salivate 😂 and watch. Your free write is short but good for a fresher. Well done.

To be honest, I don't know. I was making it up on the spot and that's all I could come up with within five minutes. I guess that's the beauty of fiction. It can be whatever you want it to be.

I felt the emotions and how it would have been so hard for Jeff to feel that hunger to have rose droppings in his throat.

You really tried and I love how you could come up with the prompt too. At least, I was made to know how hunger deals with a person especially when you do not have anything to eat or money to get something. Good luck. @Dreemport brought me here.
