Soon I will go to my hometown Corum, which excites me on the one hand and scares me on the other. Because I haven't seen my family for a long time and I want to see them. Selam millet! İşler tıkırında, ben yorgunum, havalar -en azından akşamları- serin. 😂 İşte bende havadisler böyle. Yakında memleketim olan Çorum’a gideceğim. Bu durum beni bir yandan heyecanlandırırken, bir yandan da korkutuyor. Çünkü ailemle uzun zamandır görüşmedim ve onları görmek istiyorum. I am from Osmancık, Çorum, and Osmancık is famous for its rice. Since I'm from a city famous for its rice, going to a rice shop just before I'm about to go there and sharing the rice shop just before I'm about to go there again. This is the meaning. Pilaf reminds me of my hometown, my mother, my childhood. Because, as it was when I was little, we still have pilaf for dinner in our house, 5 days a week. 😂 Küçükpark pilavci is a famous pilavci in Izmir. It is one of the pioneers of doing this business as a shop. He does the chicken pilaf, chickpea pilaf business, which is done with mobile carts, in a restaurant. But the system is still mobile 😂 Because they serve the pilaf with disposable plastic plates and give plastic spoons. With all my good intentions, I think they are trying to keep the spirit of the mobile pilaf shop alive. Is this more economically viable? I don't know about that. It's fine for me. 😂

Pirinciyle meşhur bir şehirden olduğum için, tam da oraya gitmeme yakın bir zamanda pilavcıya gidip, gene gitmeme ramak kala pilavcı paylaşımı yapıyor olmak. İşte anlam bu. Pilav, bana memleketimi, annemi, çocukluğumu anımsatıyor. Çünkü, ben küçükken de olduğu gibi, hala bizim evde, haftanın 5 günü, yemekte pilav olur. 😂 Küçükpark pilavcısı, İzmirde, meşhur bir pilavcı. Bu işin, bir dükkan halinde yapılmasının öncülerinden. Seyyar arabalarla yapılan, tavuk pilav, nohut pilav işini, bir lokantada yapıyor. Fakat sistem gene seyyar.😂 Çünkü, pilavı kullan-at plastik tabakla servis edip, gene plastik kaşık veriyorlar. Bu durumla ilgili, ben bütün iyi niyetimle, seyyar pilavcı ruhunu yaşatmak gayesinde olduklarını düşünüyorum. Ekonomik olarak, bu daha mı uygun oluyordur? Bunu kestiremiyorum. Benim için sorun değil. 😂

Even though I am from Osmancli and was exposed to rice extensively in my childhood, I am not a gourmet. I don't have much of a palate. My criterion for pilaf and all other foods is that they are not too bad to eat. Nevertheless, some special dishes, whether it's the chefs or the products used for the dish, can have a distinctive flavor. I can't think of any of these rare cases right now. This pilaf is not one of them. But it meets my expectations from pilaf.

Ben her ne kadar Osmancıklı olsam ve çocukluğumda çok yoğun bir şekilde pilava maruz kalsam da, bir gurme değilim. Damak tadım falan pek yoktur. Benim pilav ve diğer bütün yiyeceklerle ilgili kriterim, yenilemeyecek kadar kötü olmaması. Gene de bazı özel yemekler, ustalarından mıdır, yemek için kullanılan üründen midir bilemem, ayırt edilebilecek kadar güzel bir tada sahip olabiliyor. Bu nadir durumlardan, şu an aklıma gelen bir şey yok. Bu pilav da onlardan değil. Ama benim pilavdan beklentimi karşılıyor.

I went here with my girlfriend. She ordered the mixed. I ordered the one with liver. I like liver a lot. Anyway, they call our villagers liver people. 😂 That's another story, maybe I'll tell you later. The medium size filled us up. Still, it seemed too much for me to pay so much for rice. The price of medium size pilaf and ayran is 30₺ (approximately 1.7 USD). There are not many other options to fill your stomach with this money, but I think the pilaf should have been even cheaper. Because Küçükpark is a place where students are dense. There should always be a cheaper option for students.

Biz buraya kız arkadaşımla gittik. O karışık tercih etti. Ben ciğerli olandan söyledim. Ciğeri de çok severim. Zaten bizim köylülere ciğerci diyorlarmış. 😂 O başka bir hikaye, belki sonra anlatırım. Orta boy karnımızı doyurdu. Bana gene de pilav için bu kadar para vermek fazla geldi. Orta boy pilav ve ayranın fiyatı 30₺(Yaklaşık 1.7 Usd). Bu parayla karnınızı doyurabileceğiniz başka çok seçenek yok ama pilav daha da ucuz olmalıydı diye düşünüyorum. Çünkü Küçükpark öğrencilerin yoğun olduğu bir yer. Öğrenciler için her zaman daha da ucuz bir seçenek olması gerekir.

That's it, they sold rice to the rice seller. 😂 By the way, let me say this. When I think of pilaf, I think of nothing but rice pilaf. However, there may be many types of pilaf such as Bulgur Pilaf, Vermicelli Pilaf. The rice I am talking about in this post is rice pilaf :)) Take care of yourself, don't eat too much rice, it makes you gain weight...:))

İşte böyle, adamlar pilavcıya pilav sattılar resmen.😂 Bu arada şunu da söyleyeyim. Pilav, deyince benim aklıma Pirinç pilavından başkası gelmiyor. Oysa Bulgur Pilavı, Şehriye Pilavı gibi bir sürü pilav çeşidi olabilir. Benim bu paylaşımda bahsettiğim pilav, pirinç pilavıdır. :)) Kendinize iyi bakın, çok pilav yemeyin, kilo yapar…:))

Osmancık pirinci gerçekten çok kaliteli, bu yüzden biraz pahalı satılıyor aldığımızda genelde misafir geleceği zaman ondan pilav yapıyoruz😅pilav deyince benimde aklıma pirinç gelir çokta severiz maaile😅 şimdiden iyi yolculuklar 😊

Fiyatlar her gün artıyor. Fiyat algım yok diyebilirim. artık ne pahalı ne çok pahalı çözemiyorum. Ucuz yada Uygun kelimesini sözlükten kaldırdık.
Evet ne yazık ki öyle oldu. Paramız da emeğimiz de pul oldu.
Its looks and iam sure is delicious, but for God shake never on plastic plate! General plastic i believe even change a little the taste! For example, a soft drink in a plastic bottle isn't as good as the same soft drink in a glass bottle! In any case, nice post buddy!
