A couple of days back, I was watching a video uploaded by khaleelkazi, which was centered on some diversification ideas he's/they've been thinking of, specifically about Airbnb. At that time, I didn't know what it was, but from the video, it had to do with some rental business. This is one field I've personally been advancing to, as of last year, I concluded a vehicle rental deal, which I intend to put back on if responsible drivers come around. That said, Airbnb is specifically into homes deals, that's the rental of home spaces for travelers looking for a space to stay. I didn't pay much attention to this not until today when I saw two different articles with the name Airbnb in it.

Could Airbnb start accepting crypto payments this year? It appears so and Airbnb CEO: Crypto Payments Top User Requests for 2022

On January 2, Brian Chesky, co-founder and CEO of Airbnb, asked his Twitter followers to share their ideas for new services the vacation rental platform could roll out in 2022.
After sifting through roughly 4,000 suggestions, he reported that users were most interested in integrating crypto payments for Airbnb.report

The interesting thing here is that, if khaleelkazi perhaps ventures into rentals with Airbnb, he stands a chance of transacting through this medium, so that pretty much keeps him partly in the cryptoverse, even while pushing a reach to a diverse investment. So much more is happening around, and more industries are likely to join in and that makes 2022 a very bullish year in terms of adoption, the user base of crypto is bound to see great expansion, and many projects will gain exposure.

Take this report as one point of success

The largest movie theater chain in the United States, AMC recently confirmed another addition to their crypto payment option with the listing of trending meme token, Shiba Inu ($SHIB). Following the same, AMC now allows the use of Shiba Inu for online crypto payments for movie tickets and concessions. Additionally, the franchise also offers crypto payments using Bitcoin ($BTC), Ether($ETH), Litecoin ($LTC), and Dogecoin ($DOGE), and have future plan to extend its decentralized reach into the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) arena as well. AMC CEO is also gravitating towards launching the company’s own private crypto after enjoying eminent financial success from the addition of crypto payments.

Many are doubting crypto would ever become a globally accepted means of trade, but looking around, with all that is taking place, it's gradually becoming just that! One interesting thing to note here, which the crypto space has tend to worry much about is; One crypto will definitely not be king over all It is possible some institutions would prefer alts to bitcoin. However the case may be, what is certain is that they will be options, so it's going to be a system of diverse cryptocurrencies to choose from, considering that it's becoming a field of investment, so everybody can't be in one place, thus, the need for this institutions to offer many options to choose from, comes in place.

With Airbnb, possibly hopping into this train, the future of rental businesses is getting a push to the blockchain world, the next listing phase would likely be NFTs as rental certificates.

"Our future success will also depend on our ability to adapt to emerging technologies such as tokenization, cryptocurrencies, new authentication technologies, such as biometrics, distributed ledger and blockchain technologies, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, and cloud technologies."

Whatever this lands us, once again, things are happening that signifies that impact crypto and blockchain technology is creating, it's design and properties is creating an urgency for adoption. The selling point of the industry is already in the air, and many more institutions will find their way to build and capitalize on this developing network…
