Central Bank Digital Currencies(CBDCs) are a threat to themselves not crypto

It is now rather common to have people in crypto talk about central bank digital currencies as a threat to the cryptocurrency ecosystem, but the more you look at it, these fake ass approach taken by governments to attempt to replace cryptocurrency will have very little negative effect on the ecosystem, in fact, it could end up having more positive effects, this is especially if individuals can acknowledge the ultimate centralization of finance built into this idea of a central bank digital currency.

What is however not common knowledge is that CBDCs are not exactly different from what we have today with banks and all these points systems, considering that majority of them, as far as I know are not developed on any blockchain infrastructure, thus lacks the values of a blockchain powered digital currency which includes high speed and borderless transactions, flexibility in finance management, interoperability and portability. The system is practically too rigid to be a competitor to crypto at a very far and wide margin.

Look at it this way, you develop a digital environment that basically allows you to issue traceable dollars that can be minted at ease and issued within your application but have no other value structures asides that and most definitely lacks the ability to be interoperable with other similar applications, so inevitably, you're going to have to adopt a similar model to what is already in use which is the use of the USD as a unit of account in other applications far wide when in reality the underlying payment currency isn't USD all the time, pretty fucked up innit?

I could be wrong, maybe these systems will be interoperable, but what does that even mean in the traditional system of finance and governance, at what cost would a "government" allow their value to flow into another system of which the can't control them but just hope they don't get screwed because this isn't a distributed consensus network, it's all centralized one man or party business which means a lot of fucks ups can be dug up which brings us to the actual point here:

Central Bank Digital Currencies(CBDCs) Are A Threat To Themselves

This is something not often discussed but let's create a scenario of having a business transaction between two men, man A is selling a land, man B is buying, with cryptocurrencies earning lots of attention lately and having far wide liquidity and utility, man A is in such a good position to accept crypto as payment so as to flexibly join in and kick start a crypto journey by leveraging the numerous opportunities in crypto to grow his finances, but when we look at CBDCs instead, we figure that this won't be the case.

CBDCs have no value or utilities whatsoever, or at least, their value and utilities do not exceed what we already have within the present banking system, thus, it will be difficult to have a business environment where anyone just accepts any stupid ass currency in a business transaction, so we'd have individuals still requesting specific currencies and this will place the government in a tight position of not exactly having the control the seeked over the money supply.

With CBDCs, there's really nothing new, it's just maybe a little upgrade to the banking system that allows the central banks to control the money supply more than it is, but from a value prospect, CBDCs add zero to the equation and I'm not so sure many of these authorities will care about that because it isn't their problem if you're satisfied or have opportunities to grow your wealth or not, because reality is that they only want to take from you and control you.

The relentless effort's of all these banking systems and regulations, CBDCs included merely facilitates the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies. If they're still trying this hard to get rid of cryptocurrencies it only proves the idea that crypto assets are liberating and ×100 resourceful than whatever they can offer.
