Reggae Music Influenced The Whole World

The whole worlds get bombed by reggae culture since 1960s. This means a culture of reggae become the greatest culture of Jamaica but all music lovers in the world had been influenced by reggae. The existence of reggae can move people to be happy in life particularly in Europe, in the USA and Africa.

Reggae impacted on Western punk rock/pop culture. Even the rappers got inspired from reggae in some big countries like USA and United Kingdom. The Jamaican reggaes music is well-known until Indonesia. I still remember when I was at the first year of my elementary school in 1985 there were many young people of my village in Aceh sang a song of Bob Marley; No Woman, No Cry. It is a great example how reggae influenced the world.

What can I learn from reggae culture?

I can learn so many things from reggae. I will be motivated to face the problems arise from my life when I listen to the reggae songs. Then my motivation is bigger and bigger to fight the hardest life here. The slow jerky rhythm of reggae music must makes me happy. I don’t care what happen to my life tomorrow and I am very sure I can fight with them.

Reggae is the beginning of revolution for the Jamaican music

Frankly, I knew Jamaica because of Reggae. I read many literatures about Jamaica and in 1960s Jamaicans become the happiest people in the world because of Reggae. I can prove what I said by asking people here ‘’where is Jamaica?’’ and you know 9 of 10 people will answer ‘’I don’t know where Jamaica is, but I know Bob Marley is from Jamaica. He sang No Woman, No Cry.’’ That’s the reality that reggaes came and Jamaica became one of a famous country in the world.

Reggae influenced the world

Reggae is not only gave new inspirations for the culture of other music and singers. But reggae also influenced the world. You must know some singers from Ivory Cost such as Alpha Blondy and Tiken Jah Fakoly, and Lucky Dube from the South Africa. They are some singers that clearly known by the world because of reggae.

You will see how the reggae music become the music of the world. It means this music worked very well. And you won’t be shocked thing if wherever you go you will listen to reggae songs from Indonesia until the other countries of Asia, Africa, Europe, and America. Other kind of music such pop to rock. The other music will be sexier when they combine with the reggae music. I tell you the truth my friend. You can prove by yourself what I just written here. It is definitely correct that the reggae music had been a potent therapy for people with low self-confident and lost their motivation to face their life.
