Hello everyone

On a bright and balmy morning in Phuket, My husband and I decided to explore the Old Town. After meandering through its colorful streets and soaking in the local vibe, my stomach started growling, urging me to find a place to eat. That's when I stumbled upon a new spot in town – "Rajaros Dim Sum Bangkok."

Excited about trying something fresh, I headed over to this dim sum joint. Turns out, it was conveniently close to the famous Yellow Clock Tower that everyone visiting the area snaps pictures of as a souvenir. The tower stood tall, telling stories of the town's history, and people gathered around, capturing its timeless charm on camera.

As I dug into the dim sum delights, I realized this restaurant hit the jackpot with its location. Not only was it near the Yellow Clock Tower, but it also sat close to Surin Circle, another hotspot that transformed into a festive wonderland during celebrations. The lively decorations during festivals added an extra layer of charm to the dining experience.

As I walked into the dim sum spot, the first thing that caught my eye was this massive dim sum steamer right at the entrance. It was like a beacon of deliciousness, promising a feast of flavors inside. Next to it, there were these fridges filled with all sorts of dim sum goodies, giving customers like me a tough choice to make.

I couldn't resist checking out the variety, and after some serious contemplation, I picked out six different kinds of dim sum that looked too good to pass up. With my choices in hand, I headed over to the staff and asked them to work their magic by steaming up my dim sum delights.

While they got to work, I couldn't help but soak in the aroma of anticipation. The promise of hot, fresh dumplings was enough to make my mouth water. Watching the staff skillfully prepare my order added to the excitement, and I knew I was in for a treat.

It wasn't just about the food – the whole process of choosing, having them steam it right there, and knowing it was freshly made added a cool personal touch to the dining experience. It made my visit to "Rajaros Dim Sum Bangkok" not just a meal but a tasty adventure through their culinary offerings.

As we settled into our seats at the table, my husband, not a big dim sum fan like me, decided to go for some fried goodies from the menu. While we patiently awaited our dim sum to steam, I took a moment to survey the surroundings of the restaurant.

The place was quite roomy and had an open layout, allowing a comfortable and relaxed dining atmosphere. However, I couldn't help but notice that there were only a handful of customers scattered throughout the shop. It was a noticeable contrast to the bustling dim sum joint I visited just last week.

I couldn't quite put my finger on why it was relatively quiet. Perhaps it was still early, and people were yet to fill the seats. On the other hand, there was a chance that the food might not have gained the reputation of being particularly delicious. The mystery lingered in the air as I pondered whether it was the timing or the taste that explained the sparse crowd.

Our culinary journey kicked off with the arrival of the "Khai Kratha," and let me tell you, it was something else. This dish comes in a small flat pan with two handles, and the star of the show is a perfectly fried egg that takes center stage. On top of that golden goodness, there's a party of flavors going on – minced pork, green peas, carrots, and a sprinkle of fresh coriander. The combination looked like a work of art on a plate, and I could already sense the taste buds gearing up for a treat.

Hot on the heels of the "Khai Kratha," the second dish made its entrance – a plate of sizzling hot fried dumplings. As the aroma wafted towards us, I could tell we were in for another flavorful experience. The dumplings were golden brown and crispy on the outside, and as I took a bite, the savory filling burst with goodness. The taste was more than just "quite good" – it was a satisfying combination of crunch and tenderness that left a lingering delight on the palate.

The next dish added a touch of mystery to our meal. I couldn't recall the name because it was a Chinese specialty recommended by the owner for its deliciousness. Intrigued by the owner's assurance, we eagerly awaited its arrival, our curiosity growing with each passing moment. When the dish finally graced our table, the tantalizing aroma hinted at the flavors that awaited us. Excitement filled the air, but a wave of heat rising from the dish reminded us to exercise patience. It was piping hot, and we had to let it cool down before diving in. Once the dish reached a temperature suitable for tasting, we discovered its hidden treasure. Inside, a savory mix of minced pork awaited, enveloped in crispy golden sheets. The first bite was a revelation – the contrast between the crunchy exterior and the flavorful pork filling created a symphony of textures and tastes that lived up to the owner's recommendation.

Following the enticing interlude, the dim sum I had selected finally graced our table. As I indulged in the various dumplings, it became evident that this dim sum joint lived up to its reputation – the flavors were exquisite, and each bite was a testament to the culinary expertise of "Rajaros Dim Sum Bangkok."

However, there was a bit of a downer – the place was practically empty. It felt like stumbling upon a well-kept secret that deserved way more attention. My heart went out to this hidden gem that was waiting to be discovered by more food enthusiasts.

Before leaving, I decided to do my part. I left a glowing review on Google, singing praises about the lip-smacking dim sum and the genuinely friendly owners. It felt like the least I could do to spread the word about this place.

Beyond the delicious food, what stood out was the warm and welcoming vibe created by the owners. It wasn't just a dining experience; it was like being treated to a meal by friends. I wanted others to know about this fantastic find and the hospitality that came with it.

Walking away with a happy belly, I hoped that my little review might attract more folks to venture into "Rajaros Dim Sum Bangkok." Good food and friendly faces deserve to be celebrated, and I wanted others to share in the joy I found in this unassuming dim sum haven.
