A Morning Visit to the Big Buddha Temple!

Last month marked the start of the new Buddhist Era, and I was filled with excitement as I prepared to visit some of the most revered temples in the area. One of the temples I had always wanted to visit was the Big Buddha Temple, located on the NagaKerd Hill in Chalong District, Phuket. This temple was renowned for its large white Buddha statue that could be seen from miles away, making it a popular tourist destination.

I decided to visit the temple early in the morning, after dropping my son off at school. This was because I wanted to avoid the traffic and enjoy a quiet and peaceful experience. As I made my way up the mountain, I was taken aback by the breathtaking beauty of nature that surrounded me. The road was dotted with lush green trees and stunning landscapes that left me in awe.

When I finally arrived at the Big Buddha Temple, I was greeted by a throng of tourists who had come to pay their respects. Although it had been two years since my last visit, the temple still held its awe-inspiring beauty and serene atmosphere. I felt a sense of peace and tranquility wash over me as I gazed at the magnificent statue of the white Buddha, perched atop the hilltop.

As I stood there, I was also treated to a stunning view of Chalong Bay and the surrounding district. Despite the foggy conditions, I could see the beauty of the area from my vantage point. It was a truly memorable experience that I would treasure for years to come.
