ฺBecause it rained on Sunday!

Yesterday, my family and I planned to eat shabu at a newly opened restaurant by the sea. In the morning I dressed and waited thinking that the rain might stop. But in the end, I got dressed and waited for nothing because it rained from morning till night. It's like pretending because this morning it's sunny since 7 am and there's no rain at all. It rained all day yesterday that I couldn't go out. So I ordered food through the Grab food application, which is currently very popular since the outbreak of COVID-19 people cannot go out or eat in restaurants. People have turned to using these applications to order food to eat at home. Although nowadays, COVID can be considered a local disease in Thailand. People can live normally but ordering food for delivery is convenient, so it's still popular.

But when I ordered the food, there was already a driver accepting the order. But after a while, they pressed to cancel my order. After about 20 minutes, the restaurant I ordered food called to inform me to order again. Because after the rider clicked to cancel the order, the restaurant was affected because the food I ordered was already cooked. So I ordered food again and waited for a very long time. At that time I was very hungry I could almost eat the whole elephant, haha. After about 40 minutes, there was a rider taking orders and delivering food. When the rider pressed cancel, I assumed it was due to heavy rain and the restaurant where I ordered was not far from home. The food delivery fee is therefore cheap. It may be these 2 reasons why the rider clicks to cancel. When the rider came to deliver the food, I gave a tip on top of the delivery fee.

เมื่อวานฉันและครอบครัวมีแพลนจะไปกินชาบูร้านเปิดใหม่ริมทะเล ตอนเช้าฉันก็แต่งตัวรอคิดว่าฝนอาจจะหยุดตก แต่สุดท้ายฉันก็แต่งตัวรอเก้อ เพราะฝนก็ตกตั้งแต่เช้าจนถึงกลางคืน เหมือนแกล้งเลยค่ะเพราะเช้าวันนี้มีแดดตั้งแต่ 7 โมงเช้า และไม่มีฝนเลย เมื่อวานฝนตกทั้งวันจนฉันไม่สามารถออกไปไหนได้ ฉันจึงสั่งอาหารผ่านแอฟพลิเคชั่น Grab food ซึ่งปัจจุบันได้รับความนิยมเป็นอย่างมากตั้งแต่มีโควิดระบาด ประชาชนไม่สามารถออกไปเที่ยวหรือรับประทานอาหารตามร้านได้ ประชาชนจึงหันมาใช้แอฟพลิเคชั่นเหล่านี้สั่งอาหารมาทานที่บ้าน ถึงแม้ว่าปัจจุบันนี้โควิดจะถูกให้เป็นโรคประจำท้องถิ่นในประเทศไทยได้แล้ว ประชาชนสามารถใช้ชีวิตได้ตามปกติ แต่การสั่งอาหารแบบเดลิเวอรี่ก็สะดวกสบายก็เลยยังเป็นที่นิยม

แต่ตอนฉันสั่งอาหารนั้นมีไดเดอร์กดรับออเดอร์แล้ว แต่สักพักก็กดยกเลิกออเดอร์ของฉัน หลังนั้นประมาณ 20 นาทีทางร้านที่ฉันสั่งอาหารก็โทรเข้ามาแจ้งให้ฉันกดสั่งอาหารอีกครั้ง เพราะหลังจากที่ไรเดอร์กดยกเลิกออเดอร์ทางร้านก็ได้รับผลกระทบเนื่องจากอาหารที่ฉันสั่งนั้นทางร้านได้ปรุงเสร็จแล้ว ฉันจึงกดสั่งอาหารอีกครั้ง และรอนานมากๆ กว่าจะมีไรเดอร์กดรับออเดอร์ ณ ตอนนั้นฉันหิวมากๆ แทบจะกินช้างได้ทั้งตัว 555 เวลาผ่านไปประมาณ 40 นาที ก็มีไรเดอร์กดรับออเดอร์และนำอาหารมาส่ง ที่ไรเดอร์กดยกเลิกฉันคิดว่าคงเป็นเพราะฝนตกหนักและร้านอาหารที่ฉันสั่งอาหารอยู่ไม่ไกลจากบ้าน ค่าส่งอาหารจึงถูกอาจจะเป็น 2 สาเหตุนี้ที่ทำให้ไรเดอร์กดยกเลิก เมื่อไรเดอร์มาส่งอาหารฉันจึงให้ทิปเพิ่มจากค่าส่ง
