Cat lover's cafe visit.

Hello everyone

I am a cat person, and despite having two pet cats at home, I still enjoy visiting cat cafes. I aspire to raise more than two cats, but caring for animals is challenging for me due to the associated expenses. Therefore, going to a cat cafe and observing numerous cats not only brings me joy but also alleviates the desire to have more cats.

Phuket boasts numerous cat cafes and dog cafes, but I typically frequent only a few, one of which is listed as "B Cat Cafe" I've visited this particular cat cafe for the third time, located in the convenient-to-travel Phuket Old Town area.

I discovered this cat cafe through a Phuket travel review page that I follow along with several others. I often choose cafes or meals based on reviews. Despite Phuket being a relatively small island, there is a constant influx of new restaurants and cafes opening up to cater to the growing number of tourists during the high season.

"B Cat Cafe" catches the eye with its vibrant blue color and features two distinct zones. Upon opening the door, the first zone unfolds as a restaurant. During the recent Christmas season, a decorated Christmas tree greets visitors near the entrance, and the glass area is adorned with a festive Christmas theme. The interior of the restaurant zone maintains the same blue tone as the exterior and is embellished as a cozy cafe. Adorning the walls are pictures of various cats, adding a delightful and cute touch to the overall ambiance.

To enter the "B Cat Cafe" zone, there are two fee options. The first type is priced at 180 baht and includes the choice of one drink, while the second type costs 100 baht but does not include a drink. Opting for the first type, I paid at the counter and received one drink. The staff then guided us to "B Cat Cafe," located next to the restaurant, with only a glass barrier separating the two areas. Before entering the cat cafe zone, visitors are required to wash their hands with alcohol and remove their shoes, placing them in the designated shoe rack.

Upon opening the door to enter the "B Cat Cafe" zone, the interior continues the same blue theme. The walls are adorned with pictures of cats, and the chairs and sofas feature pillows printed with cute cat images, creating an overall adorable atmosphere. There are approximately 20 cats in this space, with most of them peacefully sleeping in their designated safe zones during my visit. Although the staff mentioned that all the cats can be carried, I refrained from doing so as the cats appeared not to enjoy it much. It seems that the atmosphere in the cafe might not be as lively as it was during my previous visit a few months ago.

Shortly after settling in, the staff brought my drinks. The beverage was visually appealing with distinct layers—bright red syrup at the bottom, followed by blue water resembling the color scheme of the cat cafe. On top, there was a cute cat-shaped milk foam. The staff advised stirring the drink thoroughly before sipping, especially due to the sweetness of the syrup. If not mixed, the various ingredients would separate into layers, affecting the overall taste. But, before diving into the drink, it was essential to capture a photo-worthy moment.

Having taken a sip of my drink, I strolled to the corner of the room where a whiteboard displayed pictures of the cats residing in the cat cafe, along with their names.

Adjacent to the whiteboard, there's a cat food bowl, serving as a feeding spot for any hungry cats in the vicinity. Visitors have the option to purchase cat treats available at the cat cafe for these feline residents. Holding cat treats in hand tends to attract the cats, prompting them to approach you. However, on this occasion, I opted not to buy cat treats and interact with the cats in that manner.

I dedicated some time to playing with the cats, observing their peaceful slumbers, and enjoying the sight of cats leisurely wandering around. Surprisingly, simply sitting and gazing at these feline companions brought a sense of calm and joy. Sometimes, happiness can be found in the simplest moments. I spent about an hour immersed in the company of these cats before venturing out for a walk in the old city area. No matter how frequently I visit, the experience never grows tiresome, even in familiar locations I often frequent.

Cats are cute animals. At first, I wasn't a cat person. But my husband wants to raise a cat so he often takes me to cat cafes to dissolve behavior I started to fall in love with them.

I have seen that there are more and more pet friendly places but I had not seen one specifically for cats, although I don't have cats for now, latter in a few years plan on getting one, my kids are a bit allergic, I lean more towards their quiet and solitary personality, I am very much like them, don't bother me human I just want a minute without dogs messing up the place.

Yes, cats are introverts and will come to snuggle sometimes. It's a shame that your children are allergic to cat fur. At home, I also have a problem with cleaning cat fur as it is sparse and difficult to clean. The curtains and sofa were also covered in scratches. Although many things Like the house will be damaged I still love them haha.
