Impressive good times at Rai Treyawan Museum! [part 1]

Hello everyone

Late last month my son and I traveled to visit my sister and her family in Tak Province, Thailand. After not seeing each other for many years since the coronavirus outbreak we spent a week together. The last day before my son and I returned to Phuket we went to visit the Rai Treyawan Museum, our last visit here was 3 years ago so let's see what's changed now.

Rai Treyawan Museum is located in Chong Khaem Subdistrict, Phob Phra District, Tak Province. It has a very wide area and the owner is a nature lover and likes to collect antiques. I would so love to open a cafe with a beautiful garden and museum like this so that people can come and relax and take pictures. For admission, 4 years ago, the adult price was 20 baht, and children free. At present, the entrance fee for adults is 50 baht, but the entrance ticket can be used as a discount on the purchase of snacks and drinks for 20 baht, while children are still free to enter. The price increase is probably because there is now a museum displaying rare antiques.

Walking inside, you will see tall palm trees lined up in rows. In the center are a large red post box and a motorcycle with big wheels next to the post box.

There are many robots and superheroes in this park as a gift to children who come to visit here.

An antique car made from a piece of iron that can open the door to sit and take pictures inside the car.

In addition to the statues of heroes, there are also statues of different species of dinosaurs.

There are bicycles for rent to ride around in the park as well, only 20 baht per bike, with no time limit.

Rai Treyawan Museum is a very spacious place. Most of the grounds are well-decorated and maintained gardens. Large lumps were brought and arranged beautifully. No matter where you take photos, it's beautiful.

Although the Rai Treyawan Museum is full of palm trees, coconut trees, and large trees. But the weather that day was very hot until the shade of the tree couldn't hide the intense heat of the sun. Not a long walk, the children started tired because of the hot weather until having to find a place to sit and rest.

Here, the garden elements are arranged beautifully and very well.

In the middle of the area is a large pond. There is a vacation pavilion and a bird's eye view in the middle of the pond. There is a red bridge to cross to the pavilion. This point is another very beautiful photo spot.

This very cute little girl is my niece, she is 3 years old. Three years ago I came to visit my sister (her mother), she was just a week old, and we came here as well. She is still a baby and sleeps most of the time but this time she grew up and was able to perceive everything, she was curious to know everything around her. She was happy to come and visit like this. ♥️

Rai Treyawan Museum combines beautiful diversity here. Whether it is a statue of a famous character in various movies. Anyone who loves the horror of the movie Child's Play can come and take pictures here.

There is also street art that tells stories of the past through beautiful art. Seeing it makes me think back to when I was a kid. At that time, although the technology was not yet to much developed here in Thailand. There were only few cars, wherever you wanted to go, you had to walk. No TV, communication required writing letters or telegrams. There were very few stores, the locals liked to sit and talk in the cafes in the morning. This is an image I always saw as a child and it is a beautiful memory for me that I cherish.

That day was very hot. We often have to stop in the shade of trees.

This is a Thai wooden house belonging to the owner of Rai Treyawan Museum which was built as a vacation home for resting time to come here. Visitors can see the beauty of Thai houses outside and around the area, but cannot go inside.

The entrance arch is also made of wood. The front door is decorated with a pair of lion statues that look majestic.

Both sides of the walkway are decorated with statues with different gestures.

There are many ornamental trees and large trees here. Wherever you look, it's green and pleasing to the eye.

Tall, lush, and green Italian Cypress Trees. Children romp and play hide and seek behind Italian Cypress Trees.

It was a very hot and tiring day but we are happy to spend time together. Because Rai Treyawan Museum is very spacious. And there is also a museum that collects various collectibles of the owner of Rai Treyawan Museum in a newly built museum as well. Waiting to follow and find rare collectibles in part 2. 😉

@baibuaza Relatively very cheap admission to the museum, despite the fact that the years have passed. It is very beautiful.
