Hello everyone, hope you have a nice weekend.

Today my family and I went out for lunch. It's a restaurant close to home that I've been wanting to visit for a long time but just had the chance today.

Ma Doo Bua Cafe' reads Ma-Doo-Bua. It's interesting to see the name, right? At first, when I heard the name I thought it was French, but actually, the name of this cafe is in the Thai language and means that it invites us to look at the beautiful lotus pond.

“Ma Doo Bua” is a cafe that has a distinctive feature that is a garden of Victoria lotuses. Which is the largest lotus in the lotus family as large as 1.5 meters, the lotus was named after Queen Victoria of the British Isles. Because of success in bringing lotus to plant in England.

The decoration of the cafe is Thai style. As for the seats inside the café, there is also a balcony protruding into the lotus pond. The café offers drone photography services. I wanted to take a photo too, but I had to wait in line for 2 hours, so I went home.

You learn something everyday. I had no idea there were plants like these. Of course I know about Lotus but these almost look artificial. They're not right?

What a place to have lunch, I probably wouldn't spend much time eating and more time soaking in the surroundings. Probably a small dog or cat would have a lot of fun playing real life mario on those.

By the way, I think the photo quality on these are really quite good. The colours are vibrant, really nice framing and composition. The poses and 2/3rds rule well applied too. See.. I'm not completely oblivious to photography after-all.

Funny, I liked to play Mario as a kid and now I can not remove the picture from my head of a cat jumping from one lotus to another trying to catch coins.
