Hello everyone

This morning, I decided to reach out to my oldest son and suggest we grab lunch together. It's been ages since we shared a meal, and I've been missing those times. He's always had a thing for Shabushi Buffet, so I figured that'd be the perfect spot. Around 11:40 a.m., my husband, our younger son, and I headed out towards the Robinson Department Store where the restaurant is located. Luckily, the traffic wasn't bad, so it only took us about 15 minutes to get there.

We parked our car on the Central Floresta department store side, but since the Shabushi Buffet restaurant was on the Central Festival side, we had to walk across the bridge connecting the two. As we made our way, something caught my eye – a stunning photo spot. The corner was adorned with picturesque decorations, just begging to be captured on camera.

Unable to resist, I paused to take a few snapshots. The Central Department Store truly lived up to its reputation as the largest in Phuket, not only in size but also in its captivating design. Every detail seemed carefully crafted to draw in customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Despite our hunger pulling us towards the restaurant, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture the beauty around us. After all, memories are made not only in shared moments but also in the little snapshots of life along the way.

After capturing some memorable shots, we continued our stroll towards the Shabushi shop. As we approached, I spotted my eldest son already seated on a bench outside, patiently waiting for us. His familiar smile greeted us as we drew near, filling me with warmth and happiness. It was a heartwarming sight, seeing him there, eager to share this meal together. With a sense of contentment, we joined him, ready to embark on a lunchtime adventure filled with good food and even better company.

As we entered the Shabushi shop at noon, the aroma of freshly cooked dishes greeted us, enticing our appetites. Since it had just recently opened, the place was relatively quiet, with only a few customers scattered around. This worked out perfectly for us as there were plenty of tables to choose from.

After scanning the available options, we settled on a table near the exit door. It was a strategic choice, allowing us easy access to the buffet area so we could pick and choose our favorite dishes with convenience. Plus, it provided a nice breeze each time the door opened, keeping us cool and comfortable amidst the warmth of the restaurant. Settling into our seats, we eagerly awaited the culinary delights that awaited us, ready to indulge in a feast of flavors and create cherished memories together.

After indulging in the Japanese cuisine corner, we returned to our table, ready to dive into the interactive dining experience that Shabushi Buffet offered. With excitement bubbling in our hearts, we watched as a colorful array of fresh shrimp, shellfish, crab, fish, pork, chicken, beef, and vegetables floated along the conveyor belt, beckoning us to partake in their deliciousness. With each passing dish, we carefully selected our favorites, filling our plates with an assortment of ingredients to be cooked in the simmering broth of the hot pot. As the steam rose and the flavors mingled, we shared stories, laughter, and cherished moments together, lost in the joy of each other's company.

An hour slipped by in what felt like mere moments, leaving us with hearts full and bellies satisfied. Reluctantly, we bid farewell to the Shabushi Buffet, knowing that our time together had come to an end. As my husband, young son, and I made our way home, the warmth of the afternoon sun accompanied us, casting a golden glow over our memories of the day. As for my eldest son, he returned to his rented room, where he chose to isolate himself. Though physically apart, the bond we shared remained unbreakable, a testament to the enduring strength of family ties. As I reflected on the day's events, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the moments we had shared and hopeful for the reunions yet to come.
