The Temptation of Karon Beach: A Rainy Season Escape
On a beautiful morning, the weather was so inviting that it beckoned me to the beach. The sun bathed the world in a warm glow, and the cool breeze carried a hint of salt from the nearby sea. It had been many months since I had last visited Karon Beach, as it was typically battered by waves and strong winds during the rainy season. Reluctantly, I had stayed away, fearing the unpredictable weather that often marred the pristine beauty of the shore. The rainy season had brought with it unpredictable days where the sky could be clear one moment and pouring rain the next, leaving little room for beach outings. And so, I patiently waited for the season to pass, yearning for the time when the sun would dominate the skies once again.
However, on this particular morning, something was different. As I bid my son farewell at school, I glanced up at the sky and noticed it was as clear as ever. The allure of the beach became irresistible, and my heart longed for the feel of the sand between my toes and the gentle caress of the waves. Throwing caution to the wind, I made up my mind to seize this opportunity. I drove swiftly toward Karon Beach, the anticipation growing with each passing mile. The excitement of returning to the beach after such a long hiatus filled me with childlike glee.
As I approached the coastline, the sight before me was breathtaking. The sky stretched out like an endless canvas, painted in shades of blue, adorned with wisps of cottony clouds. However, my delight was soon tempered by the sight of the tumultuous sea. The waves crashed against the shore with remarkable force, their intensity unmatched by any recent memory. Despite my apprehension, the pull of the ocean was strong. I parked my car and stepped onto the sandy expanse, feeling the grains warm and comforting beneath my feet. The rhythmic symphony of crashing waves enveloped me, and I breathed in the salty air, feeling alive and rejuvenated.
But, as I ventured closer to the water's edge, I couldn't help but notice the danger lurking in the mesmerizing beauty of the waves. They were higher and more powerful than I had ever seen before. A part of me urged caution, reminding me of the potential peril that came with such an unruly sea. Unwilling to let fear deter me, I decided to stay close to the shore, where the water gently lapped at the sand. It was enough to savor the experience without putting myself in harm's way.

You are very photogenic, from what I have seen there is a red flag flying there, so I don't think tourists are allowed in the ocean water.
Yes, during the rainy season, the waves are high and there are red flags on every beach in Phuket. To indicate danger, do not swim some tourists disobeyed causing tragedy almost every day.
That's what happens when you don't listen to lifeguards, the same thing happens here on our Black Sea beaches.
