And this time is almost the vegetarian festival which will be from September 26 to October 4, 2022. Many people started vegetarianism before the festival. Now no matter where you travel Phuket will see many vegetarian festival symbol flags. And in Phuket Old Town, some roads will be closed to sell vegetarian food starting from September 26 to October 4, 2022.

Phuket Vegetarian Festival is held every year. The outbreak of the coronavirus has caused the vegetarian festival to be suspended for 2 years, but vegetarian people still eat normally. Just not having a big event. This year, after the government relaxed measures about the coronavirus, Phuket Province held a great vegetarian festival. บ่ายของวันเสาร์ฉันไปเที่ยวย่านเมืองเก่าภูเก็ต ซึ่งเป็นย่านที่มีสถาปัตยกรรมอาคารบ้านเรือนเก่าแก่ที่ยังคงอนุรักษ์ไว้ ทำให้ย่านเมืองเก่าภูเก็ตเป็นอีกหนึ่งสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่นักท่องเที่ยวนิยมมาเที่ยว ถ่ายรูป และรับประทานอาหารพื้นเมืองอร่อยๆ และช่วงนี้ใกล้จะถึงเทศกาลกินเจแล้ว ซึ่งจะในวันที่ 26 กันยายน ถึง 4 ตุลาคม 2565 แต่ก็มีประชาชนจำนวนมากที่เริ่มกินเจก่อนจะถึงเทศกาล ตอนนี้ไม่ว่าจะเดินทางไปที่ไหนของภูเก็ต ก็จะเห็นธงสัญลักษณ์เทศลการกินเจมากมาย และย่านในเมืองเก่าภูเก็ตก็จะมีการปิดถนนบางส่วนเพื่อขายอาหารเจ เริ่มตั้งแต่วันที่ 26 กันยายน ถึง 4 ตุลาคม 2565

เทศกาลกินเจที่ภูเก็ตจัดยิ่งใหญ่ทุกปี จนกระทั่งมีไวรัสโควิดระบาดทำให้งดเทศกาลกินเจ 2 ปี แต่คนที่กินเจก็ยังกินตามปกติ เพียงแต่ไม่ได้มีการจัดงานที่ยิ่งใหญ่ ปีนี้หลังจากที่รัฐบาลผ่อนคลายมาตรการต่างๆ เกี่ยวกับไวรัสโควิด จังหวัดภูเก็ตจึงจัดงานเทศกาลกินเจอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ เพื่อเป็นการสืบสานวัฒนธรรมและดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวให้มาเที่ยวภูเก็ตด้วย

บริเวณแยกต่างๆ ย่านเมืองเก่าภูเก็ต ก็จะตกแต่งด้วยสัญลักษณ์เกี่ยวกับการกินเจ บริเวณสี่แยกหอนาฬิกาสีเหลืองมีเทพเจ้ากวนอูองค์ใหญ่ ซึ่งเป็นเทพเจ้าแห่งความซื่อสัตย์ โชคดี มั่งคั่ง
ส่วนอีกหนึ่งจุดบริเวณวงเวียนหอนาฬิกาเป็นมังกรตัวใหญ่และก้อนเมฆเหมือนอยู่บนสวรรค์ ซึ่งอยู่ไม่ไกลจากสี่แยกนาฬิกาสีเหลือง ซึ่งทั้ง 2 จุดนี้ กำลังตกแต่งแต่ยังไม่เสร็จ ฉันคิดว่าคงเสร็จเร็วๆ นี้ก่อนเทศกาลกินเจจะเริ่ม

วันนี้อากาศร้อนมากๆ เดินรอบเมืองเก่าภูเก็ตแล้ว ก็ต้องทานอะไรเย็นๆ ให้สดชื่น ฉันจึงไปทานขนมหวานที่ร้านอยู่ระหว่างสี่แยกนาฬิกาสีเหลืองและวงเวียนนาฬิกา เป็นร้านขนมหวานที่มีให้เลือกเยอะมากๆ ฉันสั่งไอศครีมเผือกท๊อปปิ้งเป็นข้าวเหนียวสีดำและมะพร้าว รสชาติหวานหอมอร่อย แม้ว่าจะอยู่ในช่วงควบคุมน้ำหนัก แต่ไม่เป็นไรพรุ่งนี้ค่อยควบคุมน้ำหนัก วันนี้ขอกินละกัน
