Wat Chalong is an ancient temple invaluable in Phuket. It is a very beautiful and famous temple. Foreign tourists, especially Chinese from Malaysia, come to worship and pray at this temple in large numbers. Wat Chalong has a large and beautiful pagoda called "Phra Mahathat Chedi Phra Chom Thai Baramee declares" In which the Buddha image in various postures is enshrined many on the 1st and 2nd floor, inside Phra Mahathatchedi, there are wall paintings with delicate patterns. You can walk out and see the surrounding scenery, especially the last floor which is the highest floor. You can see the view of Chalong city. วัดฉลองเป็นวัดเก่าแก่คู่บ้านคู่เมืองของจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นวัดทีมีความงดงามและมีชื่อเสียงมากๆ นักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติโดยเฉพาะชาวจีนจากประเทศมาเลเซียนิยมมากราบไหว้และขอพรที่วัดแห่งนี้เป็นจำนวนมาก ส่วนฉันผู้ที่ขออะไรไม่เคยสมหวังเลย ส่วนใหญ่ฉันจึงมักไปไหว้พระเพียงอย่างเดียว วัดฉลองมีเจดีย์หลังใหญ่งดงามมีชื่อว่า "พระมหาธาตุเจดีย์ พระจอมไทยบารมีประกาศ" ซึ่งภายในประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปปางต่างๆ มากมายที่บริเวณชั้น 1 และ ชั้น 2 ภายในพระมหาธตุเจดย์มีภาพเขียนผนังด้วยลวดลายอันอ่อนช้อย บอกเล่าเรื่องราวพุทธประวัติของพระพุทธเจ้า ตั้งแต่ประสูติ ตรัสรู้ และปรินิพพาน ชั้นบนสุดของเจดีย์เป็นที่เก็บพระบรมสารีกธาตุ ซึ่งเก็บไว้ภายในโหลแก้วที่มีตู้กระจกป้องกันอีกหนึ่งชั้น ทุกชั้นของเจดีย์จะเป็นระเบียง สามารถเดินออกมาชมวิวรอบๆ ได้ โดยเฉพาะชั้นสุดท้ายซึ่งเป็นชั้นที่สุดที่สุด สามารถมองเห็นวิวเมืองฉลองได้อย่างชัดเจน ถ้าคุณมาเที่ยวภูเก็ตฉันแนะนำให้มาเที่ยวที่วัดฉลอง
