Another biggest Hive purchase by me

avatar

About a week back I powered up like 3500 Hive which I bought using my liquid stable coins. After the market fell down and the price of Hive became half, I got hopes for a good trading option and I decided that I should sacrifice 20% APR from HBD and purchase more Hive for more than 5000 HBD I had. I know it is a big risk because we cannot predict the crypto markets. But I still wanted to give it a try. The main reason is that if the price of Hive becomes 2X from here, I would get two times extra coins which I think can be better than the 20% APR.

I placed a buy order in the internal market. I wanted to do this when the price was around 49 cents or anywhere less than 50 cents but missed it. I think 53 cents is not a bad deal after all. Even if the price heals back to 60 cents is more than that the profit would be amazing. I will be able to reach my goal of 50k Hive power easily I suppose. I guess if I power up this new Hive which is around 9000 Hive, I'm very close to reaching 50k Hive power.

As the price of Hive is low it is also a good opportunity to earn from the post rewards. People will get more Hive as a reward for the HBD they get on their posts. That's also another additional thing. I'm also happy that the curation rewards will also start growing because of a huge power-up. In that case, I would be growing my Hive power furthermore.

I have placed a buy order in the market for 53 cents but it is yet to be filled. I think it might happen gradually as the price of the coin fluctuates. Hopefully, after I go to bed the price of Hive shouldn't pump and reach 70 cents or something before letting me purchase it. Otherwise, it will be my biggest regret for placing the buy order very low. Hopefully, I wish luck favors me.

I still don't know if this was a wise move or not. The main reason is that the price of Hive had been below 20 cents in the past. That too stayed that way for a very long time. There is a high possibility for that to happen again if the market falls down again. But hope is everything and I want to have so many hopes for Hive and see how it turns out to be. People might say that it is not a wise idea to keep all the eggs in the same basket but I'm willing to take that big risk by investing in Hive which is my first preferable investment coin.

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://peakd.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem

I bought at 0.475 and 0.49 and powered up but I'm still keeping some HBD liquid just in case the drops

Oh my bad I did not keep anything. I have only around 1k HBD still in savings. But let's hope it doesn't go down further from here. At least I hope that's the case.

How can I transfer Hive from exchanges into my Hive account here?

The instructions will be available in the exchange itself. Just go to withdraw and enter the Hive username and complete the withdrawal. It will be here.

Hive definitely seems to be the best option IMO for holding in comparison to the other crypto. It has more purpose and functionality than most of crypto that exists, as it has the whole social aspect tagged to it which allows people to really interact and network. That's quite a substantial amount of Hive you've shifted around there, hell yea! Wishing you the best with your investing! :)

53 cents should get filled. It's still on a downtrend and I see below 50 within a couple of days. Maybe even tomorrow.

Hopefully, after I go to bed the price of Hive shouldn't pump and reach 70 cents or something before letting me purchase it.

Too soon for 70 😅 But 60 cents is strongly at play and I'm using that mark for scalping.

It already is below 46 cents. Good prediction. I have to now power up all the Hive.

I like your way of thinking. I think Hive will recover nad therefore it is a wise decision. Hmmm I have been buying small batches here and there - you gave me something to think about.

You really did a great job. I've been waiting for more drops to buy too, but it just didn't happen. I hope I don't miss the opportunity

I personally feel that the current price itself is great to buy.

I picked some up with some of my HBD when the prices were favorable as well. It has been nice to see the price of HBD holding close to $1 even when the price of Hive has been below $.50 I think you made a smart move. Everything you can do to build your account up now will totally pay off when the price goes back up. I miss the days I was bringing in over 100 HP per day with my posts and curation! I found this post on Listnerds.

I'm glad I used all my HBD to purchase Hive and I'm going to wait for the price to heal back to 1$ again. Until then powering up would be good I guess.

I am hoping to make some decent power ups in the coming months here. We will see though.

I've been doing the same - although I've not got nearly as much as you ! I was quite lucky though, I managed to withdraw all of my saved HBD in time to exchange it at 0.38 HBD/HIVE. And then I'm going to DCA in at various steps as it increases again over time and hopefully goes back over $1.

And also as @brando28 has said, I'm also keeping some HBD from recent post payouts liquid in case there is another drop.

Either way, I've got enough time to wait it out and see what happens, and if it takes too long, I can always power it up to HP.

I also think there is a possibility for another drop. But let's hope it is all good after that.

Great job and I think your order should get filled. Are you planning on powering it up or are you just holding it for a trade?

Mostly I'll be powering up I guess. But I'm going to wait a few more days to do that.

I have decided to do something similar. I have liquidated my HBD. When it is available in three days, I'll trade for HIVE. I have two accounts in particular that I want to grow, this one and another.

This account has recently reached Minnow status after a power up. I think it could use some more HP.

My other account is over 8000 HP, which I want to increase to 10,000 HP. After that, I'll go back to saving HBD.

Although 20% interest is great, the community as a whole benefits from all of us owning bigger stakes. The rewards are greater. And, we can help more people. Ultimately having more stake means that we can generate more HBD to save.

Good decision. Having two accounts and growing both the account is also a wise move. I'm going to be doing the same too. I would appreciate if you vote my account @balaz as a witness. 🙂

Wow! 3,500 HP!

Yes, the low price of HIVE is a great opportunity to boost one's HP. Though small, I keep converting my HBD to HIVE.

More power to your 50k goal!

Hive at 50 cents is great.

I have noticed that even though I am only getting payouts on comments the HP is much higher than the HBD
