The past few weeks have been a big pain in the ass. Countless use of drugs and injections were my paddies as the sickness that hooked me like a pregnant woman with fever crushed me desperately.

During these periods, I have been offline and was not able to do anything online. Thankfully, here I am with a thankful note for being able to see the new dawn of each day after the sickness ended. The victory of being alive brings the cry of gratitude for a healthy life which brings us to the tunes for today.

Get your headphones ready and put on your boots. Don't forget to calm your nerves and let your mind be free of all thoughts as you click on each video presented.

1st. Sia - I'm still here.

I chose this music as the first part of today's tune because it speaks to me. The pain felt and the intense battle fought for survival wasn't an easy task. It was heart-wrenching which made every cell in my body scream in agony for all to end, but the 'miracle' they say comes when you least expect it and I am glad I received mine.

The music, I'm still here, was released in the year 2018 by Sia. This music speaks about the war within oneself, the cry of pain, and the victory that comes afterward.

2nd. Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah.

Just like the first word in the lyrics speaks about a secret chord that pleased the Lord, I think I must have played the same chord when the sickness almost choked me to death. I don't know how I was saved, but I am grateful.

The music, Hallelujah, was released in the year 2009 by Alexandra Burke. This music speaks about the victory that comes at the end with the word... hallelujah

3rd. Riles - Thank God

It is a miracle to be alive, hale, and hearty and I can't help but thank God that I can breathe. Being alive is a gift we ought to be grateful for. This is why I made this music the last one on the tunes for today.

The music, Thank God, was released in the year 2019 by Riles. It reminds us that being grateful for what we have goes a long way. The breath which you inhale deeply without paying a token is what some are struggling to get even after paying huge money for private doctors. The fact that many of us have a place to camp ourselves in when the weather changes is a grace we shouldn't take for granted.

My question to you is... What are you grateful for?

All videos used were gotten from Youtube.

Still yours truly,
Balikis.

Thanks for reading and listening.

Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
