Different World: The line between the rich and poor.

With hands folded, I stared longingly at the clock on the wall like a lover awaiting her lover's return from the battle. With a keen sense, I watched carefully as the second hand moved tick-tok tick-tok as if a piece of music was going to begin anytime soon. Sighing deeply, I nodded my head in both agreement and disagreement with the things unknown to the world. How amazing life could be and devastating later? In a tick, someone could be fortunate and in another tick, another might meet with misfortune.

What a world we live in!

It is crazy with recent happenings around the world... in one part there seems to be lots of celebration and jubilation and in another, every ounce of celebration is ceased. The law of ‘good and bad' is so real as every word is meant to have an opposite and its benefits. And if I may ask, what is the opposite of being poor and its benefits?

When a poor man visits a rich man, many will say he went there to beg and where is the lie in that? Knowing at the end of the visit, the rich man will likely give him money or provisions to cater for his family. When a rich man is sick, the poor man will be among the first person that visits him but if a poor man is sick, he will still be the one to go over to the rich man when he gets better. What a world we live in!

The clock that a rich man has is the same that a poor man has. The difference between each clock is the model. But, why? Why does a man have to work his whole life and remain poor? I know what you may answer with;

He doesn’t know how to manage his funds?
He didn’t invest properly?
Large family?
Lack of grace?
What more?

But what about the situation of the country where the ill-maggot humans termed ‘Ambassadors or Leaders' stick their kleptomaniac fingers on every hard labored work of citizens who are the majority but their voices are that of the minority and we say this isn’t an Oligarchical rule but democracy. What a big shame!

Have you ever thought of those pot-bellied macho bosses who pay a token for the work done for 20 hours a day because they can? And this little token is spent on food and other commodities to keep the energy up for another day of endless toil. Though there are people who act irrationally when they see loads of cash mainly because most of them didn’t toil painfully for it, I am not here for them.

Let’s talk about those who are willing and always ready to work ‘legally’ and have the mindset to invest properly if fate permits. How about helping them without telling a lady to bring her body and guys to look for tons of funds to ‘wet your hands' which you may end up not giving them the job afterward?

You are rich today doesn’t mean you will be rich forever. Many have fallen from that position you are now and some were able to climb back because of the helps they rendered when they were at the top. Don’t be a rich man who sees a poor man as a beggar. Be a rich man who sees a man's quality in life and willingly help if you can without expecting something in return. Be your brother's keeper, not your brother's killer. Help a soul today if it is within your power and always remember the law of karma.
