Glint.

They all went round and round at an unimaginable pace. Sitting across the lawn, I kept glancing at their movement like a child waiting for her favorite uncle's return from the past. I know it is not possible to see such a thing happening, but I knew better. There's nothing like impossibilities as long as there's life. A big sigh left my lips as I held on my head like a sane maniac.

And then a thought hit me like thunder, "What would mama say seeing me with hands on my head?" I asked with a snicker, and then my other self answered, "She will surely scream at you, telling you how bad and a big taboo it is to place hands on your head." Drama filled African mothers, eh? and then my hands dropped from my head like it was lit on fire. Sucking on my tongue like a brainwashed lass, I bit gently on my lips when things took a huge turn at the scene before me.

"Hmm, I never expected that!" I screamed or tried to, but my words ended up as a whisper as I continued my staring contest.

With my eyes glued at what was in front of me, I was lost in the land of "wonder," but there was nothing "ful" about it. The scene missed that, and then it started to bore me. On a clue, they all changed their pace again and again like a ballet dancer trying new stunts to amaze her audience in an opera performance.

"Astonishing!" some will say with terror filled eyes, but I am not someone, I am me, and I go with a "meh" Let's get this over with kinda vibe. Yeah, you can say I am harsh with my response, but I shouldn't fake it, right? Yeah, I shouldn't! I believe that's better.

Rocking my head side by side like a baby who can see the future of gracious milk coming to her lips soon, I smiled, or did I? Hmm, I could have sworn that just for a glint moment, I thought my eyes sparkled with the performance and I badly wanted to stand up and even give a clap, but then I couldn't. My butt seemed to be tied to the pavement I sat on. It felt like I sat on a gum or a gummy dog poop. "Ewww, how did that thought get in?" I asked with a crazy smile. "Oh, please don't stare at me like that. I mentioned I was a sane maniac. What were you expecting?" I said with a beautiful smirk.

And just as I was about to force myself to rise from my spot, I saw something flash by and could have sworn it was some sort of fireflies and they seem to perform a miracle to my butt. I was able to stand up from my spot, but the scene had ended, and everywhere was quieter than a graveyard. With a deep sigh, I closed my eyes only to open them in reality and got to know that I was dreaming.

"Hmm, how crazy is that, right?" I wanted to say, but I was met with another sweet scene as I woke up with my neighbor being chased by a dog, and just for a glint of a moment, I thought I saw the dog smile at me.

"Well, I must still be in a dreamland. How great is that!" I said nicely, but it turned out to be sarcastic.

Touching a part of my eyes with my hands, a yawn left my lips and then I woke up to the real reality as a gasp left my lips as a remainder struck me, "Time to work, let the hustle begin!" and just for a glint moment, I thought I saw... I saw... hmmm, I can't remember what I saw.
