No! He screamed,
But no one heard him,
How cruel can the world be?
To live a dying man standing.

'Nakedness we came with and with it we shall return' so I heard,
But here we are spending millions of dollars on clothes to be worn for the day,
In agony, your neighbor toils heavily with no food for the day.

"We are our enemies,"
And that statement is not wrong,
Where is the soul of mankind?
To live a man in misery when he can be helped.

But when they are gone to the great beyond,
We morn with a shattered heart for our loss,
We speak greatly of their efforts in life,
And how they died toiling endlessly.

With a fitted handkerchief,
We blow our noses and shake our heads,
And we say to our neighbor saying, "But he looks well to me."
And we say to another neighbor, "I heard he was ailed."
Hmmm... What a world we live in.

But do remember,
For you that have and clasp your hand like a pregnant woman,
We will all leave this world one day either in misery or in a fun house,
And I ask you, "Where will you be after death arrives?"

Still yours truly,
Balikis

Thanks for reading.

¡No!

Don’t mind her. I am sure women are trained to respect and remain humble and loyal. But her case is different 😂. I have to do that myself 😆

This is a food for thought. Are we givers or just consumers? Do we contribute or do we just exist as waste in the ecosystem? Great writeup.
