A walk through Old Vyborg-2

These views are unlikely to be found on tourist guides, atlases or maps. To see them, you need to go for a walk along one of the channels of Vyborg.

On one side of the canal is the port part of the old town. You can see the booms of port cargo cranes, berths and some vessels. But we will walk on the other side of it.

We can say that we are walking along the embankment of one of the islands on which the city is located. You can't see the open sea from here. Soon the well-groomed and well-maintained part of the embankment ends and you find yourself in an interesting natural corner.

Granite stones, trees, sand, the remains of port facilities... there is some kind of mysterious atmosphere here. There is a feeling that now you will meet something unexpected and pleasant.

It was the beginning of summer, the cherry blossoms were blooming and its intoxicating smell wandered around us. However, the day was overcast. For photography, this is both good and bad at the same time. The colors become expressionless, but there are no sharp shadows in the black-and-white version (although sometimes they are also needed). In some photos, I turned off the color...
