Embankment of the Fontanka River

After ice and Epiphany frosts, it is good to remember summer. I usually spend the summer outside the city, but that day we got out to the center and had a good walk. The sun was sinking towards the horizon. This is good for photography, shadows appear and make the picture more voluminous.

После льда и крещенских морозов хорошо вспомнить лето. Обычно лето я провожу за городом, но в тот день мы выбрались в центр и хорошо погуляли. Солнце клонилось к горизонту. Это хорошо для фотографии, появляются тени и делают снимок более объёмным.

Having walked along Sadovaya Street, we turned into a side street to go to the embankment of the Fontanka River.

These places belong to the old part of the city, so I decided to process the photos in such a way as to give them a bit of antiquity.

As you can see, I was not the only photographer on this embankment. There are beautiful old buildings, a river, bridges and good light.

I like to shoot nature more, but this city cannot leave anyone indifferent. I hope you enjoyed this little adventure.
