[Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo] - I'll show you now

Great initiative, thanks to @nelinoeva and the sponsored support team for an interesting challenge.
So, you need to show a white bird. In January in St. Petersburg ... you can, of course, go to a poultry farm and find white chickens and roosters there. But people say that a chicken is not a bird (such a joke).
You can go to the shores of the Gulf of Finland and hunt ivory gulls. But it may not work. But I know exactly where white birds are found at any time of the year. I'll go to my photo archive.

First, we will go to New Athos (Abkhazia). Two centuries ago, monks blocked the Ptsyrskha River and made a waterfall, and behind the waterfall several reservoirs were formed in a beautiful park. Somehow I'll show them, but now the topic is about white birds. And they are in this park.

Of course, these are white swans. In the summer they are hot and prefer to swim in the shade. The water in the ponds does not look crystal clear, but this does not bother the swans. They even like it.

_DSC0777.jpg

To prevent them from flying away, their wings are clipped. I don't think it's a good idea, but this way the birds are always there.

And what is found in our area?

DSC03579-3.jpg

The neck is slightly shorter and more powerful. These birds are not clipped by anybody. They have nowhere to fly.

I found them on the shore of a small pond.

Three funny geese lived with a grandmother. Everything is like a song. True song about two geese.

"Two merry geese lived with granny.
One is gray, the other is white.
Two cheerful geese."

I think that three is even more fun for them.

DSC03567-1.jpg

A couple of friendly frogs are having fun with them in the pond.

In any case, these are two more wonderful white birds.

I will try! But we're having big storms here every day. I will have to wait till the end of the week when it is going to get hot and sunny again.

I enjoy any time of the year. Without a snowy winter and a gentle spring, I would definitely miss :)

Haaa I didn't think anyone any where else in the world got mild, snowy winters except Australia!

So there's no way I could survive a freezing cold, snowy European winter...brrrr

Good luck to you on that! It's all yours... brrrr

I expect to see the storks here in March, they are spring heralds. ☺

We also have storks, but there are very few of them here. Rare guests.
