In old Vyborg

The Tower of St. Olaf in the Vyborg Fortress is visible from different angles. This time I filmed it on the move from my car driving over the Fortress Bridge, which is narrow, long and has one-way traffic. The frames in motion were not very clear and I decided to try different types of processing.

When an artist paints his picture, he does not always pursue the goal of detailing. The details may not be the main ones at all. Colors, composition, light...his goal can be any aspect of the picture and at the same time the rest fades into the background.

And at first we'll just drive over this bridge. Berths for boats and yachts are equipped on the right side. In the same direction is the port of Vyborg and the exit to the sea from the bay.

In these places it is pleasant to wander on foot along the embankment. But that day we wandered around the Monrepos Park a lot (all my recent posts are from this park and in order to somehow diversify our walks, I decided to take you to the city), we were a little tired and wanted to have a snack or dinner in the Armenian cuisine.

Next time I will definitely walk through these beautiful places and show them to you. There are great views here.

When you're driving and shooting with a camera at the same time, your opportunities as a photographer are severely limited. On the other hand, you can get some unique shots that you will never make under normal conditions.

Therefore, before I get behind the wheel, I set up the camera in advance and shoot in "blind mode". I'm not looking at the monitor or the viewfinder. I look at the road and think about traffic safety. But the part of me in which the photographer lives does all this work for me.

See the clock tower? That's where we're going. The fact is that it stands in the courtyard of the building where the Armenian cuisine is located. This is my favorite place in Vyborg. Here they cook a very tasty kebab and many other things.

And that's all for now, friends, next time we will go to Monrepos again.

People really see tower of st. Olaf from different angel since this is too big enough to make people notice. Every photography you captured are beautiful and nice. I do appreciate how it builds and it looks amazing especially with the flags on the top. How stunning it is?

There's an observation deck up there. Excellent views of the old town. I advise you to climb it🤣 😂😅

The scenery is beautiful. Photography in situations that not everyone can or wants to experience, such as while driving, can be different. continue
