In search of a winter lake - [#WednesdayWalk]

We can say that my walk on Wednesday began with a trip on Tuesday. After celebrating the New Year with our family, we decided to relax on the winter lake with friends.

This is a simple wooden house with a stove and a sauna. The evening was cheerful and kind. And in the morning I took my camera with me and went for a walk.

Fresh snow fell at night, it was -8C outside. Perfect conditions for a refreshing walk in nature.

There was not a single person on the street. However, there was no one on the street at all.

But I was primarily interested in the lake. To him I made my way through the snowdrifts and thickets of bushes.

I made it to the lake, but it was not easy to get out on the ice. There was a lot of snow in the reed area, and there was water under it. I had to walk for a long time along the lake along the shore in search of a clean place.

In the end I found such a place. In summer, fishermen used to go out on the open water here.

I must admit that I have not yet found a post processing method that will make the snow the way I want to see it in the photo. Too much white ... It was snowing a little and the horizon was dissolving in the distance. I may have to resort to black and white photography. But that will be later.
