Sea and shore

The sea is encroaching on the old city
A vertical stone pillar, this is the remains of the Chersonesos gate.
It is unlikely that the gate stood on the edge of the shore.
Perhaps even a part of the foundation of the city buildings is visible.
But it's not certain.
The Black Sea can be merciless.
