Visual walk along the Tri Kotla gorge (41 photos)

Meet this hoyazyka of the Three Cauldrons gorge.
We have already done a difficult way here, making our way along the mountain ridge among the wild thickets.
Also, we went down into this gorge and reached the place where we need to climb the gorge wall in order to bypass one impassable section.

I promised to show you the wild boxwood with snakes in it. This is the place.

Я обещал показать вам дикие заросли самшита, в которых водятся змеи. Вот это место.

The snakes appeared to be asleep or very full. None of them went hunting. It would be interesting to meet them here. I have not tried the local snake meat yet. However, we were out of luck ... or vice versa. But the meeting did not take place.

Похоже, что змеи спали или были очень сыты. Никто из них не вышел на охоту. Было бы интересно их тут встретить. Я ещё не пробовал местного змеиного мяса. Однако, нам не повезло...или наоборот. Но встреча не состоялась.

We walked along the path, admired the fairy forest and looked down. I don’t know how impassable the channel is, but no one walked down there.

Мы шли по тропе, любовались сказочным лесом и поглядывали вниз. Не знаю насколько здесь непроходимое русло, но там внизу никто не ходил.

Finally we went downstairs. This part of the channel seemed more interesting to me. There was more variety here and a little lighter.

Наконец мы спустились вниз. Эта часть русла показалась мне более интересной. Здесь было больше разнообразия и немного светлее.

In the last photo at the bottom, you can see my companion and imagine the size of this gorge. For a small mountain river, this is very impressive.

На последнем фото внизу вы можете разглядеть мою спутницу и представить размеры этого ущелья. Для небольшой горной речки это очень впечатляюще.

It was actually very dark in the shade for shooting. The dynamic range of the camera was not sufficient to cope with such a difference in light and shadow. I have had to apply a lot of post processing.

На самом деле в тени было очень темно для съёмки. Динамического диапазона камеры не хватало, чтобы справиться с таким перепадом света и тени. Мне пришлось применять много пост обработки.

This place seemed to me the most fabulous. The lianas hanging down created a mesmerizing picture.

Самым сказочным мне показалось вот это место. Свисающие вниз лианы создавали завораживающую картину.

Imperceptibly we reached the place that can be confidently called the beginning of the river.

Незаметно мы дошли до того места, которое можно уверенно назвать началом реки.

Do you see this narrow strip of water that hides behind the bend of the rock? If you swim about 15-20 meters along it, then you will simply find yourself in a dead end. Here the water is icy and if you spread your arms to the sides, you will touch two banks at once. Of course, I swam there, but I didn't dare to take my camera with me. Next time I'll make a little raft for her.

Видите эту узкую полоску воды, которая скрывается за поворотом скалы? Если проплыть по ней примерно 15-20 метров, то вы попадёте просто в тупик. Здесь ледяная вода и если расставить руки в стороны, вы будете касаться сразу двух берегов. Конечно, я сплавал туда, но не рискнул брать с собой камеру. В следующий раз я сделаю для неё маленький плот.

This place is also called a waterfall. Although there is little water now, the picture is different during the rainy season. But during this period, it is unlikely that it will be possible to reach this place. If I lived here, I would find a way to go down right here (without going down the river bed itself). Other methods are more dangerous.

Это место так же называется водопадом. Хотя сейчас мало воды, но в период дождей картина другая. Но в этот период вряд ли получится дойти до этого места. Если бы я здесь жил, то нашёл бы способ спуститься вниз прямо сюда (не проходя по самому руслу). Другие способы более опасны.

Hope our trip was not very exhausting. This is a very interesting place. I would like to visit here more than once. Such impressions are not forgotten.
