Wednesday walk in Sestroretsk (visual history of 11 photos)
This winter has been unusually warm. Snow fell in December, and in January it melted more than replenished. Still, there were a few good sunny winter days.
Of course, I couldn't miss the opportunity to go out for a walk. Let's assume that it was Wednesday that day
We quickly packed up (it happened that after lunch the sun was hiding in the clouds) and drove to the nearest suburb for fresh air. It was the resort town of Sestroretsk.
Wooden architecture is still preserved here. Some houses are more than 100 years old. I like to wander around such places and admire the creations of human hands. In good weather it is especially pleasant.
And, of course, we couldn't help but go out to my favorite pine trees on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. Now the beach does not look like itself, it is in ice and snow, but believe me, there is a good sandy beach here :)
And then I will lead you in silence. Just admire the pine trees in the sunlight, take a deep breath of fresh air and enjoy the silence.

Love the style of the houses but that said some of those trees have such cool style as well
Thanks for joining the Wednesday, its always fun for me to visit the walks from all around the world, getting a feel for communities where people live and what they see on their daily walks
Wooden architecture usually fits very organically into the natural landscape. This city is very green, there are many pines and other trees.
You're right, trees create their own style :)
