Da vinci and just chill days

It's been a few days since I last wrote anything. I attribute that to my sudden boom in samples because I think the company just secured a deal with the south africa mine site so we are going to be their main comissary lab here in the philippines and I am not too thrilled to be the person mainly handling their analysis.

So yeah, for the past few days, I've also been in client dinners because it's the ber months and we need to establish much closer relations with our clients thus we have a client's night event where we dine with our clients, but that boring stuff is not what I want to talk about. What I wanted to show you guys was the Leonardo Da Vinci AI exhibit I went to this saturday and also my first trip to IKEA UwU
Imagine, I've lived in the city all my life yet I've ever bothered to go to IKEA without my best friend XD

Lasy saturday, October 2, I packed up and left the lab early to meet my best friend at the SM mall of Asia where the IKEA building was. Honestly, my main goal for going to IKEA was for the food and the pastry XD

Unfortunately, we only got the food part down then we brought home bread that we'd have for breakfast the next day 😅

I can definitely say IKEA was a magical place for me because I love looking at the showrooms! the highlight of that trip was probably judging each other's interior designing skills because we both had completely different livibg spaces in mind whereas mine was super comfy and hers was super clean. not much of a contradiction but she would go for lighter colors and I always went with cozy colors so I feel like if we lived together, we'd clash at the living room ideas but we'd agree on a kitchen idea because we both love a clean and sexy kitchen

then there's also the debate of how many stuffies i could put in our shared space if we did end up living together because I almost got my credit card out to buy all the stuffies I saw

i think 3 hours of walking wasn't enough to fully get around ikea and it definitely will trigger the consumerist side od you to buy something because there are so many cute and cheap stuff in there but I definitely don't want to go there alone because I know someone needs to stop me from buying something 🤣🤣🤣

October 21, It was exhibit day! And I have to admit, I have never been to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) before so my poor best first had to act as my guide into the big city 🥲🥲

these are some of the things I found interesting in the boujee city. I don't think I'd live there but it was interesting to go there, nonetheless.

The Da Vinci exhibit was a one hour immersive experience where the visuals and audio tried to stimulate the mind in a way that showcased the brilliance of Leonardo Da Vinci

Or at least what they advertised.

I chose to sit on the floor because I felt like it and I wasn't wrong with my choice. sitting on the floor felt like a much more immersive experience than it did when I was seated on the chair. and idk why but my best friend thoroughly enjoyed herself watching me get lost in art and lost in my thoughts. I sat there for almost the whole hour and just watched, and so did she and after that hour long experience, we both started looking for food 😅

Luckily there was a street market just outside the exhibit hall

there were a bunch of weird food to try and honestly some of them were food I'd never think would be possible, but us being us, we settled for what was familiar which was corndogs 😅

Then for like a good 30 minutes, we tried walking to the venice grand canal because that's one place I've always wanted to visit in BGC
and quite honestly, it was pretty but there was nothing so remarkable about the place other than the giant pool I wish I could swim in

We stayed there until night time... which was just until maybe 7:30 before we decided to finally order dinner and head back to the airbnb we rented.

food might just be the only reason the both of us ever go broke because all we think about when we're together has always been food and where we could go.
This was our dinner party in bed and we basically just knocked out a few minutes after cleaning up.

We had already parted ways again because I'm back in the lab and she's back in the province, but we've already made plans for December to have a staycation again but this time, it will be to see the Vincent Van Gogh AI exhibit.
