SmAugust 2: Forbidden

Prompt 2 and so far so good. It's been a rainy weekend for me so basically I I'm not drawing or eating,I'm napping with the cat XD and I think he really loves cat naps with me
Aside from that quick life update , my prompt today I Forbidden and I was conceptualizing a forbidden guarded by a spirit dragon XD cuz what would a forbidden dragon even look like? So I was just playing wit the forbidden concept instead of rattling my brain too much thinking wtf is a forbidden dragon. Maybe something with sooo many chains but this concept would probably need more polishing before I give it solace in my head XD

So that did no look polished and I admit I could work on I some more but this prompt definitely wasn't my best work XD I do love what I did to the background and I got to try out the marker brushes I downloaded recently on the app and they're a little opaque plus the texture is really flat so I really think I's mostly great for like backgrounds and like an overlay or a light and shadow filter just so I can do something about the opacity but this is an idea to try out for another time and piece XD definitely not for no except for the background cuz it fits so well and it could be layered up seamlessly

So there you have the marker blue and for my world tree, the core of the forbidden island, I used up a watercolor brush layer since it isn't as opaque as themarker one and the layer builds up nicely. Can't say I didn't blend up the layers a bit but I think the tree looked nice ^^

Then I think? I spent so much time color mapping and blending in the dragon to make it look like a spirit but I kina gave up on itso I definitely could not detail it in enough, aside from I was really running out of active brain cells and my cat was not being helpful by seducing me for more naps XD

In the end, I did rush to finish it. I think it looks okay despite the rush and this is me writing after said nap XD
Not sure I Iwould say I like it but it's definitely different but still distinguishely m for some reason XD

That concludes my 2nd prompt an my weekend ^^ Will I still get to finish my 3rd prompt? We shall see XD but fonow, that's all I have left in me.This weekend has been so peaceful and I think I wanna have my afternoon snack then sleep some more because I am dreading my Monday ;;-;; But hey, just a few more days left and I can go on that vacation I booked recently and you guys will see a lot of pictures of that soon.
