November Power Up, Dark Mode, and Transak Fee!

Ughh time flies so fast it is already November. And as we all know, the first day of each month is hive power up. I feel guilty that I only power up on the first day, my bad! I undervalue the power of hive by just posting stuff I forgot I can stake hive thru powering up, increasing my voting power, and receiving rewards.

Now if this is your first time participating in the activity, I quoted @traciyork post for your reference;

What is HivePUD?
Hive Power Up Day happens on the first of every month. Those who are able to, take this time to power up some Hive, and/or cancel their power downs and pause trading/selling for the 24 hour span of the day.

"The requirements are:

Your reputation must be above 39 and below 70 and your account must be in good standing with the community.

Your total HIVE Power (before the 1st) must be more than 100 and less than 8000.

You must power up at least 10 Hive on November 1st (and must NOT be powering down).

You must write a post about your power up on November 1st with the tag #HivePUD (International) or #HPUD (Hispanic) as one of your first 5 tags (tagging only in the body of the post doesn't count)."

Dark Mode

Recently my eyes are hurting prolly due to too much screentime and I just recently discovered that #peakd has an option to change your profile to dark mode. As we all know, blue light strains our eyes from getting too much radiation. And the dark mode is a sigh of relief. Where have I been all this time.

Configuring it is super easy, just by going to the setting section of the interface. I took a screenshot for visualization.

Transak Fee

Just recently due to HF26 (i dont know how to explain but it is all about some major changes in the blockchain) binance suspended withdrawing/depositing hive which prompted me to look for an alternative solution. So, I tried to buy hive thru my hive wallet and I was under the impression that it is free haha but the fee is a bit expensive. So, I will just keep my transactions to other exchanges in the meantime.

I am not sure which community I am gonna post this as this is a combination of leofinance / loving hive/ hivedev / randow / SKL, but regardless I just would like to share that hive is such an awesome blockchain with a lot of potential for virtual transactions especially that people nowadays are doing most of their stuff online.
