# A season in splinterlands is rewarding - Splinter Stats Season 64 Report Card

@banzafahra

I initially started my splinterlands journey with buying some quest potions, but due to the changes in buying them, I couldn't buy more and finally ran out of them. The thrill of hunting daily missions for a "lot of chests" got hit significantly by that, but over time - as I'm finally settling in gold - the daily quest still feel quite alright.

December is a busy month in my company and christmas had my focus more on the offline-world aswell. So this month I overall had a little less games then usuall and my winrate was a bit lower as last seasons. Funnily enough I guess I had more winning streaks, because I almost ended up with a new rating high score. So I can't really complain about this season :)

The rewards are fine. No legendary, but at least 2 gold foil commons and 2 epics. Nothing to be excited about, but for me splinterlands is a marathon and not a race, so I take what I get!

My rentals are dropping a lot! Prices are going down with the flood of new cards on the market and my focus this season wasn't on adjusting my renting accordingly. At EOS my rentals almost maxed out, but the rest of the season I sat on a lot of unused cards - sad.

I'm quite surprised that although my DEC stack was drowned a lot so many shiny new cards - I can't handle my FOMO, I still get more airdrops then staking rewards. Compared to last season, the staking rewards even decreased. I mean APR naturally decreases, so there is one reason and also my stack of SPS is just a drop in the sea, but I was hoping to accumulate more and more SPS down the road. But even if my number goes down, I'm still ok with what I got. Who knows where SPS price might go over the next years and I'm planning on holding as much as I can get!

My deck still needs some improvements and when I get finally more time on my side, I plan to play a few tournaments here and there and maybe rent for some sprints on EOS. My focus is on steady growth and I want to take opportunity of these low card prices atm as much as possible to be as competetive as possible at least in the gold league.

If you want to join the fun, feel free to use this link here and don't hesitate to chat me if I can help with some delegations to give you a smooth start.

Hope to see you in the battles, Summoners!
