Ashurbanipal - Design | [Eng/Esp]

Hello friends of the Hive community, today I share with you a vectorization that I made of the last great king of Assyria, which is Ashurbanipal I took the time to investigate a little about this historical character born in Ninive's Neo-Assyria in the year 685 BC, he was the son of the ruler Asarhaddon, and stood out among the kings for being one of the few who knew how to read and write, in addition to creating a library in Nineveh. Hola amigos de la comunidad Hive, hoy les comparto una vectorización que realice del último gran rey de Asiria, que es Asurbanipal me tome el tiempo de investigar un poco sobre este personaje histórico nacido en Neoasiria de Ninive en el año 685 a.C, fue el hijo del gobernante Asarhaddón, y destaco entre los reyes por ser uno de los pocos qué sabía leer y escribir, además de crear la biblioteca en Nínive, en esta vectorización les invito a ver el proceso, y aunque no había imágenes de este personaje al menos si encontré esculturas, las cuales me sirvieron de guía o inspiración para la creación de este diseño, para la realización de este utilice el software Illustrator 2019 y para la edición Photoshop CS6, gracias por ver mi post y espero que lo disfruten.

I also opted to color it quickly and the client liked the proposal, however I wanted Ashurbanipal to be looking up instead of looking straight ahead, the design had a couple of modifications in the process and once the sketch was defined, I started to vectorize it in illustrator.

También opté por colorearlo rápidamente y al cliente le gustó la propuesta, sin embargo quería que Asurbanipal estuviera mirando hacia arriba en lugar de mirar de frente, el diseño tuvo un par de modificaciones en el proceso y una vez que el boceto estaba definido, comencé a vectorizarlo en illustrator.

We added details such as the feathers that are above his crown, the 5 small circular diamonds in red, plus the curls at the top of the hair and throughout his beard, the client also wanted me to add him (infranasal) which is the small space that is between the nose and upper lip, strong and striking colors such as gold were applied to reflect the power and strength of this historical character, in addition to including in the background a circle also in gold and on the right side the name "Ashur", as the client wanted it as well as the eyes in a deep red color.

Se añadieron detalles como las plumas que se encuentran arriba de su corona, los 5 pequeños diamantes circulares en color rojo, más los rulos en la parte de arriba del cabello y en toda su barba, el cliente también deseaba que añadiera él (infranasal) que es el pequeño espacio que está entre la nariz y el labio superior, se aplicaron colores fuertes y llamativos como el dorado, para reflejar el poder y la fuerza de este personaje histórico, además de incluirle en el fondo un círculo también en color dorado y en la parte derecha el nombre "Ashur", ya que el cliente así lo quería al igual que los ojos en un color rojo intenso.
