Yellow mood

Since I started with analog photography, as in other areas, experimentation was what attracted me the most and I began a wonderful journey of learning and discovery. Very early on I wanted to learn to develop myself because I didn't want to depend on a laboratory and also wanted to try strange things that only I could do freely and without spoiling other people's chemicals. So I learned and was quite surprised at how easy it is, especially since all the blogs I read about it made it look extremely difficult. It's not, and anyone could do it safely having all the elements and chemicals and with the necessary care.
Obviously I was very attracted to the variety of experimental films, soups, burning and scratching negatives, cross processes,... The reds scale and lomochrome purple were the two films that caught my attention first. You could buy lomochrome purple at the Lomography store and reds scale in various places, but the interesting thing was to discover what that reds scale film was, I mean how you got to those photos with such powerful red, orange and yellow tones. And it turned out to be something very simple, you just had to turn the negative: remove it from the reel, cut it and paste it on the matte side and re-roll it. You need a dark room to do it, just that.

If I remember correctly, this is the first reds scale that I did myself.

I have used a Canon Ae-1 + Canon FD 50 mm 1:1.8 + kodak colorplus 200 expired in 2012 (in red scale) + Developed and scanned at home
