The İskenderpaşa Mosque of Kanlıca - Kanlıca İskenderpaşa Camii Ziyareti (Eng-Tr)

Hello Dear HiveTr friends;

Today, I would like to share the photos I took at the İskenderpaşa Mosque in Kanlıca district, where I went for a friend's wedding. With its smallness, simplicity, dim atmosphere and peaceful atmosphere, this mosque, where we go for prayer, reflects the peace of mind of your presence there. You know, there are such beautiful mosques not only in Istanbul but also in many parts of Anatolia. However, in addition to the known large mosques, it is found in small mosques left behind. You may have come across many mosques in Istanbul, such as small mosques with great peace in them.

There are two beautiful things that keep a person in this life; Faith and Love. We always talk about both, we talk about it, we just dwell on it as if the narrator is suffering from it. Faith and Love are everywhere, always there, but only where they are. Neither Faith perish because of denial in the mouth of the wicked; nor is love devalued by the bad words of the fainthearted.

Bugün bir arkadaşımın düğünü için gittiğim Kanlıca semtinde bulunan İskenderpaşa Camii'nde çektirdiğim fotoğraflar üzerine bir paylaşım yapmak istiyorum. Namaz için gittiğimiz bu caminin kendine göre küçüklüğü, sadeliği, loş havası ve insanı huzura erdiren atmosferiyle, orada bulunmanızın huzurunu yansıtıyor. Sadece İstanbul'da değil Anadolu'nun birçok yerinde böyle güzel camiler bulunur bilirsiniz. Fakat bilinen büyük camilerin yanı sıra arkalarda kalmış küçük camilerde bulunur. İstanbul'da birçok yerde rast gelmişsinizdir böyle küçük ama içinde büyük bir huzur bulunan bazı camilere.

İnsanı bu hayatta tutan iki güzel şey vardır; İnanç ve Sevgi. Her ikisini de her zaman anlatır, üzerine sözler söyler, sadece anlatıcı bunun derdini yaşarmış gibi üzerinde dururuz. İnanç ve Sevgi her yerdedir, her zaman vardır lakin oldukları yerdedir sadece. Ne İnanç kötü birilerinin ağzında inkar edildiği için yok olur; ne de sevgi, yüreksizlerin kötü sözleriyle değerini yitirir.

What you see in the bottom two pictures is a coal stove installed on the ablution fountain in the mosque so that those who perform ablution do not get cold. This is one of the best examples of fine thinking. Sometimes, coldness is a reason that discourages those who want to prepare for worship. It is difficult to make wudu outside when it is very cold. In fact, it is a coal stove prepared so that even a person does not feel too lazy to make wudu, and does not give up on the worship he came to. Yes, cold water keeps people alive, even on a trip we went with our friends, we had to make ablution outside on a cold winter evening in ice-cold water. It was so cold that everyone was trembling while standing in prayer. But when we got on the bus ten minutes later, our bodies started to warm up instead of being cold. This cold water never made anyone sick.

One can meditate in this beautiful and peaceful mosque. In fact, what we call deep thought is thinking about the past. Their deep thoughts are mostly childhood memories.

En alt iki resimde gördükleriniz ise Camii içerisinde yer alan abdest alma şadırvanı üzerinde, abdest alanlar üşümesin diye kurulmuş bir kömür sobasıdır. İnce düşünmenin en güzel örneklerinden biri dahadır bu. Bazen ibadet etmek için hazırlanmak isteyenlerin, ibadetten vazgeçiren bir sebebidir soğukluk. Çok soğuk olduğu zamanlarda abdest almak zordur dışarıda. Hatta bir kişi bile abdest almak için üşenmesin diye, geldiği ibadetten vazgeçmesin diye hazırlanmış kömür sobasıdır. Evet, soğuk su insanı diri tutar, hatta bir keresinde arkadaşlarımızla gittiğimiz bir gezide, soğuk bir kış akşamı dışarıda buz gibi suda abdest almak zorunda kalmıştık. O kadar soğuk tesir etmişti ki namaza dururken herkes titriyordu. Fakat on dakika sonra servise bindiğimizde vücudumuz üşümenin aksine ısınmaya başlamıştı. Hiç kimseyi hasta etmemişti bu soğuk su.

Bu güzel ve huzurlu camide insan derin düşüncelere dalabiliyor. Aslında derin düşünce dediğimiz şey ise geçmişi düşünmektir. Çoğunlukla çocukluk anılarıdır derin düşünceleri.
