My First // Introductory Post
My name is Ovey Barnabas I am from Nassarawa-Eggon local government Area, Nasarawa state, Nigeria. I was born at the village and raised by my grand mother at Akwanga. I lost my mother when i was three weeks old.
When i was given birth to, my mother fail sick for good three weeks and passed away living me without sucking her breast even for once. It was not easy for me, my grand mother really suffer with me like i will not live but God in his infinite mercy allowed me to be alive.
My grand mother took my responsibility and decided to take me to Amazing Grace Nursery and Primary School were i did my play class.
Along the line, things became difficult for us, she was not able to sponsore me in private school anymore, so she took me Akwanga South Primary School were i took my primary one to two and relocated to Pilot Science Primary School Ubbe where i stay till i graduate as the headboy of the school.
I atteneded St Peter's Secondary School Akwanga, Nasarawa state. I was sponsored by my uncle. He took that responsibility when he saw my performances in the Primary school.
Life was not easy at secondary school, at some point i became unserious and gave less attention to my studies but am grateful to God that i was able to retrace my steps back and i graduated as the yellow house captain.
My grand mother was very happy when she realised that I made my West African Examination Council (WAEC) , although i went through alot before I got money to register for the examination.
I wanted going to Abubakar Tafawa Belewa University(ATBU) Bauchi, to study computer science but after Joint Admission and Matriculation Board everything thing changed because my point was low. So I switch to Federal Polytecnic Nasarawa Toto, where I studied computer science from 2018 to 2023.
Trying to cope with life, I decided to enrol my self as a computer operator in a business centre called Redemption business center. It belongs to my uncle but it was really not easy working there. I had to leave him due to some challenges and move on with life.
I satrted working hard inorder to earn for myself, at first I went into interlocks blocks and caves, my daily pay then was one thousand two hundred naira (1200).
I was not having peace of mind while working , though I was able to raise some money to support my grandma and get some necessary things for myself. Some point my body got tired and was already reacting brcause of the stress and restlessness, so I quite the job.
After which I went into teaching, which is my current job till date, it is fun being with my pupils, there is joy in seeing them learn. I have been there for almost a year now and I am happy and satisfied with the job for now.
As I left my uncle shop as an operator am still working at home because I specialize on networking and design as I so much love networking to the extent I can not do with out being online day in day out.
I always sleep on social media in search of the new updates to update my self and other people around me and even my house members to inform them on what is happening in Nigeria and the whole world at large and I love to be designining on my system and also programming and other things that I can do on computer.
Here on this platform I will sharing some of my designs and networking aspect of the computer for easy and better understanding. I am also into music and motivational writtings. By the grace of God I will be sharing all that I have with everyone on this platform.
Not forgetting i really want to use these medium to say am grateful to my friend @emreal for introducing hive platform to me which I believe is full of Great, lovely, wonderful and creative people and I look forward to learn more from you. Am soo glad to be here!

Yes hard work really pays except if one did not do it in the right way and hard work does not work with laziness so if you are lazy hard work is not for such people
