Alpinism course

This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes

In july 2001 I participated to an alpinism course in Valepelline, Aosta valley, Alps.
Here some pictures of our ascent into a wild landscape.
I was there with good friends and there was a strong affinity between the group.
We learned to walk on glacier, to ascent some rocky summit and to learn some skills about using ropes and knots to climb in a safety way.
In this post, otherwise other ones, I want to show only the walk to approach summits and glaciers, inside a wonderful mountain spaces.

Hi 😊 impressive photos, especially the one where you can see them lining up, I've always been curious about the equipment and the training, how do you prepare the mind for an eventuality in such cold weather, that someone could freeze to death or an accident, a fall...

Nice weekend 😃

Thank you!
How to prepare the mind? Praying it won't happen! And if it happens, not panicking because of fear reduces energy, so to increase probability to get alive is better to do rational acts instead of irrational reactions.
