Black, ice and red

Hello!
Today I present another pictures of wonderful day spent three years ago (already three years...) in Aveto valley, above mountain of Liguria region (Italy), showing also some colors pictures.

We started from Santo Stefano d'Aveto town, a small city that looks like a place in the Alps, but not, it is on Appennini range:

The weather was foggy, with some snowflakes, but sun appeared sometimes, showing faraway Alps, and Monviso, a famuos and wonderful peak 180 kilometers away:

Alps were sunny, but not here. We walked on Mount Bue summit, where an old and not used cable car engine was frozen by low temperature and cold wind:

We stayed a bit in this lost place, nobody around, protecting ourselves by cold and wind, sharing some energetic food together:

In others months, when chair lift works, many people came here to catch the sun and to ski. Not today. Loneliness and wilderness, as I like.

During the way back, we have been surprised by a special sunset, with a dark and deep red inside the wood. Pure magic.

When temperatures are low, it is possible, but not so common, also to see long colorful violet/pink twilight:
