Fish shop in Benin

Hello to all!

Here a fish shop (and chicken also) along the street between Possotomé and Abomey (Sud Benin, West Africa).

In previous image I like composition: the head of painted fishes pointed to the women with the child, who are the subject of the image.

People here are Islamic, Christians and also animist.
You can find veiled women, and also women in tradition clothes.
Benin is becoming one of the most touristic place of West Africa, thanks to Chinese investment, nevertheless there are many traditional and authentic places, like this shop on the main road:

Fishing is one of the main activity of Benin, due to the ocean (in the south) and also to the presence of many lakes.

I like the smile of the woman, as also the fishes painting on blue walls.
As photographer, I like not only the daily life moments, but also the contrast between complementary warm skin colors and brilliant blue.

Here in Pakistan these kind of shops are very different, this shop is looking very beautiful and as we all know that in winter fish work is very busy and many people visit this shop. likes to eat. The way we see that the artists have created pictures of fishes in a very beautiful way.

I like the pictures of the fishes painted on the wall, they are giving a proper look that this is the place where you can find fishes.
