Mountains as the prayer of the Earth

This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes

Hello to all!

Today I want to talk about verticality and I have chosen three pics to show vertical dimension.

On mountains we understand better that we are not only biology, not just a body, but first of all we are a soul. Better said, we don't have a body and a soul, but we ARE a body and a soul, and the border between body and soul is very thin: body and soul are embraced, are just the same thing.

Our social roles is to be good consumers. No more than this. No more than body wellness. About spirituality, it is an activity tollerate, just to reduce the stress of our frenetic life, organized to optimize performance.
Instead of it, in my opinion, spiritual activities (and I consider going on mountain mainly a spiritual activity) are not just a tinsel to complete our life, but the essence of it, the thing that make us alive in a deep way.

So, I don't want to talk about performance, I don't want to climb a mountain in a even shorter time, but a want to show you how beautiful is going on mountain slowly, taking all the time to watch the landscape changes, the clouds move, staying still in front of these abysmal mountains. Mountains are the prayer of the Earth, and it is priceless to stay in front of these huge open sky cathedrals.

Here a Trango Tower summit, like an huge throne to rest the soul:

At the evening in front of Laila Peak, Karakorum range, Pakistan:

A shining summit over the fog in Annapurna range, Nepal:

Pictures take with Nikon D800 and Sony Alpha 7iii.

A person's heart would be very happy after seeing the natural sights, such places a person must visit once in every month.
